3.5/5 -- really slice of life -- doesn't overdo the drama and doesn't need any unrealistically tragic backstories -- just a nice simple romance

ch 68 -- i understand she wants revenge but at this point she'll look kinda dumb marrying howard after the shame he's brought on to himself + don't think nera is planning to marry him either since iris has changed too many of the events -- can't she break off the engagement, look pitiful to keep the empress' favor, date ian on the low, and together with the F4 + bro they can plot the downfall of everyone that's done her wrong?

i love how real the dialogue feels -- sometimes BL dialogue just seems like girl talk? and not how male dynamics actually work -- these stories just felt genuine and super cute! the girl in the second story was also great

so cute! the misunderstandings are real and i like how there's no magical fix-it. hase (whatever his intentions in the past and present may be) will probably have to prove himself/be doubted in their relationship for a while and it's so valid, yet they're still perfect for each other

ch 45 -- finally got around to reading this -- kinda wish there was more plot than smut, but gotta say the plot is good when it's there. i like the realism used to portray uni life and the int vs americanized stigmas on both sides plus how genuinely other races are portrayed
