Unlucky Mansion
HILARIOUS YET TOUCHING OMFG WHERE WAS THIS GEM ALL MY LIFE. Girl got kicked out of her fashion company and as she is wondering about she'd do, she gets a job as a tenant of a mansion with an (at first) very unlikable Owner. She then lives in the mansion with said Owner (who just became so loveable and sweet with tsundere tendancy and likes/obsesses Nyan nyan aka Hello kitty omg he is so sweet), with the Owner's childhood friend (an optimistic sweet bean who grew up rich and is way too innocent for his age oh sweet angel what did we do to deserve you), with a pair of twins (the loud-mouthed idiotic yet very kind twin and the quiet smart twin who wants to do his best for those he cares) and finally with this priceless unnie who is drop-dead gorgeous but also soooo relatable (best wingman btw, she deserves everything) XD Of course, main ship is between MC and Owner, but we can also feel the vibe of a new ship from unnie and sweet rich baby :P The story just has a well balanced plot and every (let me repeat: EVERY) character is wonderful in their own way.
Usagi Drop
The shift in the relationship was... weird? I don't know, but from the beginning, it looked like the relationships that were put forward were of Daikichi x Nitani-san and Kouki x Rin and all was well. The character development was nice and the plot was also good. It got to the point where Nitani-san rejected Daikichi (even though she kinda liked him??? I don't think I really get it. She lets him go because she doesn't want to rely on him too much and she's afraid they were just too close so she doesn't want to mix up her feelings???) and I was like: Ok. Fine. Of course, things can change after years. They are adult with mature thoughts and reaction so ok. And there's the thing about Rin and Kouki. She liked him, he loves her. She rejects him because he was being a jerk (for reasons but still) and at one point, I seriously thought they were dating (unofficially). But nope. Which feels weird. Because then she goes and say she loves Daikichi. Someone that raised her, someone that was totally her father figure. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. Her biological mother just went and support her by saying that "Welp, the grandpa wasn't really your father lol". Kouki is suddenly pretty fine with it (whuuuuut) and Daikichi seems reluctant for like a chapter or so, and then pretty much just say he is fine with it????? WHYYYYY? There was no romantic development apart from "We're pretty close and I feel comfortable with you". I COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THIS ROMANTIC SUBPLOT, THE STORY COULD HAVE BEEN WELL WITHOUT IT. JUST WHY. They could have just naturally lived together without this jumble of weird feelings just because they didn't find anyone they'd rather have a life (romantically speaking) with and they're fine being only with each ther, with family. That would of made more sense!!!! Anyway, great potential, but the end could've been left out. Unecessary. Totally.
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?
Secretary x Boss (I should probably go watch the drama)
