I understand that it's how mostly people think. That we don't need God in our live. But, as far as I know, human DO need God to ask guidance. There's many thing we could use our brain and logic, but there something we still need God in it. It just which God we chose. If it's the right one, it will give you a good ending. Why ending? Because, I do think life could be suck. Maybe all the time. But with right guidance even it suck like hell it will be a nice ending. Well, that's my thought.
