This was about to become my favorite manga until it abruptly ended at chapter 40! There was so much more that could’ve been done to the story, it was not complete at all!! It all started with Sangwoo Yoon, who had a tough past with his abusive father and defenseless mom. His drunkard father constantly abused his mother and left problems after problems for Sangwoo Yoon. He poses as a rich kid from overseas, who lives alone because his father is a Ceo of a company in Canada. Being on the top at school, Sangwoo Yoon never faced a problem when it came to school bullies or anyone not liking him. Until they found out that he was lying to everyone about his actual situation. He was made fun of and mocked and stayed there for his school life. When at a special lecture at his school, he sees Jaehyun Han, a well-known CEO who seems to be doing well for himself. The speech he made at the podium inspired Sangwoo Yoon to climb up in the business side and become important, become someone who can be above. Into his working days he is called immediately to the office by the company boss and is fired for having an affair with his daughter. That was Sangwoo Yoon‘s way of trying to climb up I believe, but now he got put into a worse company than before. This is when Jaehyun Han comes into the picture again, the one Sangwoo Yoon looked up to. Sangwoo goes to a meeting with the company at their bar and finds out Jaehyun “secret” as to how he is steadily climbing up the ladder in the business world. The person Sangwoo looked up to is a prostitute and sells his body to big companies in order to go up in rank. This shocks Mr. Yoon and causes him to leave. The next day, Yoon is called to Han’s office and he reveals everything that has happened and this causes them to start their odd “business relationship”. As the both of them are climbing to the top at a rapid speed, Yoon wants to be able to have Han in his grasp, while Han is trying to break it off since he doesn’t want the relationship to get too deep. After a few more “business meetings”, Yoon receives his last set of payments and Han calls this “relationship” off. He then proceeds to tell Yoon that he had his eye on him since his lecture at his school and was entertaining himself since then. Yoon obviously pleading and begging him to keep him, he is taken away and was never seen again. With Han growing his business successfully, he manages to get a “meeting” with a extremely popular Chinese company and this is where things get messy. He’s treated more like trash, does drugs to induce the activity and is bleeding or badly bruise, the secretary he had for a while knee of what was happening and wanted to take care of him (he has feelings for him) but he is talked down upon and forces the secretary to leave him alone. Some days later he has his nudes and videos sent of him and he has to find who it is and low and behold it was Yoon. Han decides to try and call ppl to help cut him off and bribe him, but every person doesn’t answer, until this one company that he collabed with picked and said that they have to break off the contract because they were forced to. Han then calls Yoon and is forced to meet up with him. Yoon is finally where he needs to be with Han in his grasp at last. There’s no escape for him now since he’s about to lose everything as he says because of prostitution and drug use. Han is horrified and is now in the same position as to what Yoon was in previously. They begin their company partnership with Yoon taking 60% of the shares and his company now basically becoming his. Things then gets messy with Yoon using Han’s phone to text his secretary that was trying to protect him to come at 10. Yoon is now doing the thing with Han and tells him midway of it happening that his secretary was coming to see him. There was nothing he could’ve done, the secretary arrives by the door and he couldn’t believe his eyes.It’s the same person he warned him about and it seemed from his perspective that he was having a blast doing the same mistakes he made in the past and he was tired of it. So he left in anger, but that was it… THATS THE END!!! It could’ve been SUCH AN AMAZING STORY only if they continued to develop the story and plot. Even if they don’t have any positive character development, it just felt incompleted.

This was omg. That’s it. This had a lot of drama and trauma which I’m here for and the story of everyone and how it flowed was amazing. This is in my top favorites!! Tian Hu (frequently called Gege), goes to an island to see Jiang Meili and his mother, who's dying of cancer. Tian Hu has been attached to Meili since he was a baby and has made a promise when Jiang Meili grows up, to take care and become strong for him. There's some "brother" references but they aren't actually related, but Tian's father and Meili's mother were close. Moving to Seoul, Jiang Meili‘s mother was placed in a hospital to get treatment and Meili (in English “Merry”) moved in with Tian Hu. He took care of Merry just as what he promised himself all those years ago. Being together i the house brought them closer and closer til their lips touch and this is where a new chapter of their lives began. Tian Hu provided everything Merry would need, he made friends with his secretary’s brother and things started looking up, but that feeling couldn’t last in a world like this. Tian Hu’s mom was the problem, for business purposes since Tian Hu is the CEO of the company, he marries out of business to a woman named A

This is one of the more interesting and less traditional BLs I’ve seen in a long time. This one isn’t trying to justify the actions of the CEO and how messed up he is. This is also a break from how normal BLs play out with them falling in love somehow. It abruptly ends when he takes his life (mafia). It was quite refreshing and surprising indeed

THIS WAS SOOO WHOLESOME The whole story was just very well put together!!!! I WANNA RE-READ.

ITS VERY CUTE…. But I kinda forgot the whole story and I need to re-read this in the future….

Absolute garbage! I really thought Nian Nian was gonna actually stand up to how he feels and keep reminding Gu that they both would never happen, but then at the end.. THE END UP BACK TOGETHER?!!?? WHATTT!!! So what was all that abuse for YEARS?? Nothing apparently…and uk what irritates me more, is that Gu changed his mind as soon as he finds out that Nian is the one who saved him AND his idol, that’s what made him “fall” in love with Nian Nian… if it wasn’t for that, I doubt anything would’ve flourished between them. •_•
