Truth or Dare
Honestly, one of the best I’ve ever read. It’s thrilling, psychological, and emotional. It still shows love and incredible development from characters. 10/10. Would reread just to find subtleties.
Star x Fanboy
Feeling a little down because we’re all trapped in our houses? Needing a little something cause your blood sugar is low? No problem! Read this and get all your fixings. Just fluffy, sugary, sweetness that’s good for healing the soul.
Stigma
I reread this after the full English translations came out. The story is about learning to live and love after going through traumatic events. It is very dark and angsty, but the author did a beautiful job portraying the development of most (only the ones that are important) characters. It is heartbreaking and involves a lot of triggering themes, as well as racism, prejudice, and shaming. Sehyun Lee is a Korean immigrant brought to the states (maybe?) with his father who ended up dead after losing all his money to a scam. One day, when he was stealing food from a grocery store, he’s caught and given refuge by the owner. At first, the owner, Michael, shows Sehyun kindness and provides him a place to stay, but after Michael’s friend is released from prison, the kindness ceases and is replaced by hatred, abuse, and neglect. Sehyun meets Boris, who he calls his knight, when he’s saved from men in a bathroom. Their story is bright within this dark story, but it does take time for them to reach a place of love and understanding.
The Sound of Your Voice
I’m sure so many people can relate to the darkness of the story. I hope that anyone and everyone who reads it knows that better days are coming.
My Darling Signed In
Ahhhhhh this was great. Sugary, sweet, with just a little tinge of sexy.
Home Sweet Home(bori)
Lots of angst and bunnies.
