3.5/5 - arranged marriage between rich alpha x beta - implied mpreg only - abused ml who then emotionally abuses mc - good worldbuilding (muzzles + collars) but wish they could've done more with the cyberpunk setting translation is pretty rough, especially in the beginning but if your a veteran on here you should have no problem following the story. this is one of those toxic couples + lots of complex misunderstanding arcs, but as someone who EATS that kinda drama up, i really liked this story. hell, it had me crying in some parts. i know a lot of people are tired of the abusive/abused dynamic but i feel like this one did it pretty well. the alpha is an asshole but all of it connects back to his childhood trauma. it kinda makes me laugh that people were expecting a wholesome relationship when the ml is so obviously traumatized. like the man is getting whipped and beaten on by his father even as a married adult man -- OBVIOUSLY he's going to have some problems. like for one, he was abandoned by his omega father and saw firsthand how his father was babytrapped, so it makes sense that he would freak out and go batshit when Ning Yu seemingly does the same to him. idk, it's not everyone's cup of tea but i personally really enjoyed the story even though it seems like it's been discontinued. i like that we get some sort of closure when it comes to the main pairing, although i would've loved a little bit more time for Bailuo to reconnect with his father/stepson/new baby and I WOULD GIVE MY RIGHT BREASTICLE TO SEE ZHU LI BURN IN HELL.
