I started out liking this one, but it got boring about 30 chapters in. My issue is that a lot happens, but we're mostly only told about it and not shown. The scenes and conversations start getting repetitive, and I couldn't connect with the mc's emotions like I wanted to. For 90 chapters, none of the characters are developed all that well, even the mc who seems totally disconnected from his parents' tragic death. He's only upset about his brother when it serves the plot and that storyline in general just feels like needless filler with no resolution. A very mediocre read, overall.

FINALLY, a webtoon that doesn't feel like wattpad shlock. The length is justified, the art is beautiful, and the themes are complex. Truly a poignant, riveting read.

The characters, especially the uke, are suuuper underdeveloped. I guess he rescued the semes by.......being cute? It was average but cute enough I guess.
