Yet another story that tries just to justify the seme's abusive behavior by giving him a tragic past. I don't fucking care if abusers had an abusive past, it does not absolve them of their crimes. I am so sick to death of this trope. And I get that the uke is going through a difficult time but he sobs and cries more than he ever talks and just comes across as totally pathetic and kind of stupid. The art is lovely but the story does not appeal to me, personally.
