wow a lot happened in the end, his mom died, he didn't know what to do anymore, cried and moved on with a girl he came to like, only for her to also be killed. So in the end, it felt like he was left with his mask of smiling, all the while abandoning his emotions, even saying humanity is a game. Sad ending but at the same time wouldn't have known how else it could end, so it was kind of fitting. At least it ended with him sitting on a train heading for another place (don't know where) with him "smiling".

the end...cried a little bit at the end but so tired of rereading this one so for now I will take a long break the end wasn't as good as I wanted but I'm satisfied.

wish they didn't go their separate ways though :/

Shit what a plot twist -the girl who didn't want to kill, killed in the end to live. And became a teacher and did the hypnosis to the other kids, to in the end commit suicide and follow her lover who died protecting her.

OMG SHIT I'M SOBBING. I CAN'T, I CAN'T EVEN ARTICULATE MY FEELINGS.
