ch 54 crying so much it hurt so much when he gave him a birthday gift and they just threw it into a wall. That was when Dan realised "oh yes I'm just a tool to him" that was so heartbreaking because dan had feelings for him and tried to say how grateful he was for helping him paying off his dept but the guy just kept reminding him that it wasn't to help him but for him to have no distractions which will in turn distract him. When he cried I cried with him, becuase you also saw how dan struggled to afford that birthday gift and even when the guy realised that his late nights, and being tired during the day was to afford a birthday gift he got mad!!! how heartbreaking and infuriating. Now he thought that Dan was a spy for the enemy and so Dan left a letter resigning and his mother is officially dying (or dead unclear at the end)
