I don’t know what I was expecting but it sure as hell wasn’t this. Two wanted runaways ( 1 drug addict, 1 shut in, both orphans, ex yakuza sex slaves). Live in a rundown apartment complex that’s getting ready to be torn down. They meet their neighbor Ai and make him feel better by getting drunk having a three way with him. Ai proceeds to tell the cheery aya that he loves him and wants to be his partner. Aya says ok but only if ryo can be in too since they’re two in one. At first Ai is reluctant as ryo seems a little scary but when they’re left alone one day Ai sees another side of ryo and falls for him too. Later after having sex he decides he won’t drop out of college and feels good enough to return. On the way home he learns aya and ryo are wanted for running away with the yakuza’s money. When he gets home he realizes they’re gone. Left without him. 5 yr Time lapse. We see Ai as a succeeding salary rep even though he still feels like dying (always been a pessimist). We learn that te duo fled to South America and even bought a house near the sea but they’re not as happy as they thought they’d be...somethings missing. Aya has returned to being a drug addict and pleasure seeker and ryo can only watch as he does so. Ryo even says that they might no live to see 30 if they continue like that. They return to Ai and kind of talk it out and have makeup sex and they all go to S.A (after Ai convinced his bosses to move him to position in the company there) and yep it ends. Very good very fricking good. Kekeke how they were arguing over kissing Ai at the end. I would’ve LOVED to see them get jealous when Ai mentions he’s had other partners after them (although they might not really care since they seem so laid back and had partners themselves) but fuck it would’ve been hot to see. Yea I definitely wish this was longerrrrr.

Like a 4.5 nvm now that I explained, I’m lowering it into a 4 maybe even 3.9. Idk if some scenes were supposed to be scrapped but accidentally left. Like when sakyou was talking to kaneko in the end of 5 when he found uyema’s apt completely empty and it had actually been 3 weeks since they had last talked (he said it’d been the longest they ever went no contact) (I believe he thought it while he was with friends). Anyway he found his apt empty and kaneko said it was because he was moving. But in 5.1 sakyou apologized to uyema the next day and they went back to friends right away and uyema told him he was moving and sakyou even saw the process. So yea idk what’s what. And ig the other vhapters that are .1 are alternate translations plus added scenes. So I actually just a 4. So sakyou found his bff masturbating from the back while saying his name and suddenly started having mixed feelings about him (all positive) uyema gets drunk and sakyou reveals he saw him but doesn’t tell him he heard. Uyema pretending to be so drunk he’s irrational decides to suck him off and sakyou let’s him after some complaining. Uyema claims to not remember but (us readers know he died when he says so himself). Sakyou gets jealous of seeing a man/client (kaneko) get too close to uyema and takes him back to his apt and sucks him back (in one of them he just receives a slap and uyema leaves but in another ch he goes through with it… so yea confusing. But I just stick to the last ch being the correct one of all .1s) after that is when uyema tells kaneko he’ll go to Ny. Sakyou goes to the Ap.to say farewell and uyema stops him and says he’s done running and he loves him. (This is only possible because sakyou is still lw throwing indirects that he wants him) so they get together but uyema still moves and they have a LDR for 6 years (though it’s kind of insinuated that they still meet up now and then) sakyou moves to my with a company he’s with (I thought it was his own but then they say it’s branched off of another company and a boss named Hana?) (so ig he’s like the manager or something) they reunite and while uyema is sleeping off their fun night sakyou puts a ring on him and is talking to a realtor on the phone about a 2 person apt he’s getting. So yeaaa not too shabby but all those changed scenes are confusing. Oh yea and in this one I think sakyou said they’ve known each other 16 yrs (since hs)
