ngl i ended up really liking this. people really are cruel to fat people, but i think what's amazing is that she takes all of it and she doesn't care. she thinks she's beautiful and lives her best life. in return everyone around her sees her charms and she becomes more beautiful in their eyes. she didn't need to be skinny to live her best life. and this gives off the impression that she has always been like this, but she's been hurt by so many people that she lost her light.
and i love that as this goes on, she gets more and more beautiful. she was already average pretty before, but as the story progresses she gets more beautiful even though her face doesn't change. when you see people with beautiful personalities, you start to see them in a better light. because no matter what the beauty standard says, only true kindness and love transcend any standard of beauty.
