This is really bittersweet, there's a lot of sad but also a lot of fluffy happy chapters. This deals with grief, loss, loneliness, war, etc. Maybe don't worry about the romance tag, it's mainly hinted at for MC or shown involving a bird person and a queen. The epilogue does hint there's a future romance for the girl though. There are depictions of self harm so be cautious reading this, though the chapter warns you it's happening.

The art is beautiful but they take forever to actually get to explaining the background of what's happening in the story, and even when there's action it's really unclear what is happening and why they are doing anything.
