I think that what hyunwoo did to subin is just horriblem imagine that for 5 years someone's inlove with you and you know that then you suddenly disappear without even telling that person then you come back have xxx with him then tell him that didn't happen. soon after that he found someone new and now you just realized that you loved them all along that's kind of a dick move, I'm glad they didn't end up together because everytime hyunwoo was on the panel it makes things very awkward. Subin did everything for hyunwoo but hyunwoo didn't reciprocate it In the end hyunwoo realized what he lost after subin find someone who can actually reciprocate his feelings.
