He dyed his hair red in middle school bc he read in a book that it might help him make friends (he dyed it red bc his favorite power ranger was the red one). One day, it was raining and he got beat up for defending a turtle (ppl was throwing rocks at it and tai told them to stop and they beat him up) so he got left in the rain by himself. He met nao (girl) that day when she was heading home and she left to get him bandages and she also gave him her umbrella (she was scared of him but she still gave him those). A year later, they enter high school. Tai got excited that nao goes to the same school as him (he knows her name bc her name was on the umbrella) so he confessed to her. She accepted bc she was scared of him but she later broke up with him bc she felt bad that he was always sweet to her but she didnt like him and only accepted bc she was scared of him. When they broke up, tai confessed saying that he knew that nao only accepted bc she was scared but he was happy bc he got to spend time with her. He also said that he will still be friends with her if she lets him and they became friends. They formed a little group after there was a group project (they were all loners) and they became friends. After a while, nao confessed to tai and they became a cute couple. Tai becomes friends with someone popular and that made ppl like tai more and they aren’t as scared of him any more. Tai’s friend atarted to like nao and he confessed but she rejected him and they became friends. Their friend group lasted and everyone got married :)
