Harley's manga / #slice of life(24)

Pian Pian

Ongoing | Haesin Young | 2019 released

Honestly a very nice read. Read it legally and I think it was worth the wait. I liked the pace and the plot twist. The imprint being in his eye was very cool. Honestly want more. I hated Gordon Ramsay so much omggg I want him dead. Won't even bother reading the extra chapters with him and Yu Sahyeon.

Can't get Caught! XXX

Complete | Lee , III | 2022 released

1. IT WAS SO OBVIOUS BRO WAS BASED OFF OF HIS CHILDHOOD CRUSH LIKE COME ONNN AT LEAST CHANGE IT A BIT (Yeah I know he didn't mean to and it was a coincidence but still ) 2. It was fast paced and obvious but it's fineeee, didn't ruin it that much. 3. Jungwoo is a golden retriever. 4. The fucking angst/misunderstanding towards the end of the main story was so unnecessary, honesty ruined it a bit. 5. Glad they got married after that, that was cute. 6. It was porny towards the end and it was so cringe omg kill meee 7. The peaches looked like cocks and I found that really funny. 8. As the story progressed (counting the side chapters) the dialogue got worse and worse and in turn cringier and cringier. 9. The side chapters were very confusing, I had to figure out myself that they were idols in another universe. Also it "introduced" a new character completely out of nowhere, so the best friend can have a love interest. That was unnecessary broooo. He didn't need a love interest and to get fucked. The last chapter from the side stories in which they got fucked at the same time was so cringe. Furthermore, I was actually looking forward to the side chapters' plot, I found the trope of the secret relationship interesting, especially when they almost got caught by the paparazzi when they were out near that river thing. But Jungwoo just proposed and it abruptly ended. 10. The part where Seeun (is that how it's spelled?) fucking kicked Jungwoo across the screen and music started playing and shit was comedy gold. 11. Still a fun read nevertheless.

THE BEST MANGA I'VE READ 4-2-24 okay not anymore, bj Alex was an assssssss but I still really enjoyed myself while reading it, so it can keep its 5 stars. It was one of the first bls I read too. That fucking livestream has traumatized me. YOU KNOW WHICH ONE

Bye Bye

Complete | Doo Down | 2019 released

It was quite fast paced and the constant "stop" and "slow down" was GETTING ON MY NERVES. But other than that it was good. I feel like it could have been amazing if it was executed better. I didn't expect the miscarriage. Made me quite sad. Even sadder that it ended so abruptly and we missed so many important scenes like the proposal, the marriage, the rainbow baby's conception, and their life AFTER the baby was born. The top was very nice and the relationship healthy, but why must every tattooed top have THE UGLIEST TATTOOS???? It was humorous and I loved Sunghyun, Sunghoo's younger brother- the one that started it all (*´ノ∀`*)

Hetakuso Love Step

Very good, but why did bro have to announce their relationship to everyone !Σ(×_×;)!

A Pushover's Romance

Complete | Moscareto,모스카레토, Hyun Lee | 2000 released

NAH THIS WAS REALLY GOOD. I'm not particularly fond of the exes to lovers trope, but this shit was handled so well!!! The characters' feelings felt so real. While maybe unreasonable, they felt realistic, and they were definitely valid. Their view on their relationship was healthy and serious, which is so amazing to see. They felt in love, yk? And they, especially Jinhwan, wanted so hard to try again and this time do it right. And while they did continue to have fights, like they said they would, they still talked about it and apologized, and realised that the good outweighed the bad anyway. Most healthy relationship I've ever read so far. Absolute gold of a manga. Also, the smut was good. No rape!!!! The role-playing was cringe sorry i skipped it I can't handle roleplay. The art is gorgeous, and Minjun is so fucking pretty man. Jinhwan too but Minjun is *chef's kiss*. Loved that they also showed Jinhwan's pov.

My Darling Liar Boy

Really good and cute ^^. The twins annoyed me but they were very quick in solving the issue and getting back together. I especially loved the part where they met their old friends again (⌒‐⌒). Cute cute.

Pearl Boy

Complete | Inking,Zoy | 2000 released

This was SO GOOODDDD. Wasn't expecting to follow Dooshik in this! I thought Jooha was the protag, so that was a (nice) surprise. I absolutely adored Dooshik - he is indeed a green flag!! Their relationship was so amazingly structured and built. It was healthy and natural. Loved it loved it. Pilwon I want to fucking murder you. Here's the thing - this shit was TRAGIC. Tragedy after tragedy, it kept going from bad to WORSE. UTTER PAIN IN THE FINAL SEASON. PAINNNNNNNNN. This manga was genuinely fucked up, and it's sad knowing this shit does happen irl. The pornography videos business the two brothers (Daehui and Dae Kwang) ran was absolutely horrendous• Eunwoo lost his life due to it. Like, that shit hurtttt. Tragic. I fucking hate Daehui and Dae Kwang with a passion okay? But for Dooshik to order for Dae Kwang to get gang raped? And in such a BRUTAL way? I was just in shock. I wasn't expecting that. On the one hand, I totally understand his thought process and what lead to this, but on the other we can't deny that it was fucked beyond belief. But it won't make me hate Dooshik. The whole manga was soooo well written, so amazingly structured and so smoothly paced. Amazing story that was given justice through its amazing writing and art! The characters weren't one dimensional either, genuinely astounded at how well written and characterized they were. Why must the bad guys be hot :( (talking about Daehui). Finally, regarding the ending. I had seen some spoilers, but I was NOT expecting the AMNESIAAA. I HADNT SEEN THATTTT. Caught me so off guard I started pacing around the room. It pained me, but they did fall in love again and get a cat (⌒‐⌒). Cute. They can finally be happy! And I'm so glad Jae Il and Seung Hyun aren't dead. I loved them for helping Dooshik and Jooha (also Seung Hyun is hot). But here's the thing about the ending. I'm torn. Not sure if I like it or not. Cause, I do like that he ended up remembering, more so that he remembered because he fell in the water. But, on the other hand, it's kinda pointless to me to make him remember... Like, why bring amnesia into it if he ends up remembering? You get me? So idk how to feel. Still a phenomenal manga nonetheless. Totally recommend. Update: Not liking the side stories at all. It's like the characters completely changed, especially Dooshik. Update 2: I get why Dooshik went hard-core with the sex. Still didn't like it. Tho now they've expanded even more on stuff. Dooshik is having a hard time carryin all those bad memories on his own, while also suffering with Jooha confusing him with Pilwon. Meanwhile, Jooha felt jealous of his past self, in the sense that Dooshik was thinking and missing the Jooha before the memory loss. But he's not the same, and the best thing to do is move forward, and I'm glad they decided on that. Seems their relationship and lives are doing amazing after they cleared that up, too. But Dooshik is still suffering. I know he regains his memories however so we're good. Will there be extras after Jooha regains his memories? Idk but I hope so.
