It was cute.
Haikyuu!! dj - Me, the King, and a Baby?!
Bro wants a baby so bad. They both idiots. I refuse to believe they wouldn't know how babies are made tho.
High Pulse
Eun Jae annoyed the shit out of me. He constantly came to his own conclusions and acted upon them without trying to talk it out or share his thoughts with Jin Hyeon. A lot of his worries were fucking ridiculous, and he worried ALL THE TIMEEEEEEE. First about not wanting to ruin his friendship with Jin Hyeon, then about his relationship with Jin Hyeon after he becomes an alpha, since alphas can't fall in love and be together (which was so stupid btw, he knew he would likely be an omega so why was he surprised when he did present as such?? Idiot) and then about his relationship AFTER he presented. Literally the first two worries were stupid as fuck, the third one had basis, since Jin Hyeon did say he didn't like omegas (something that was never expanded on btw) but come onnnnn brooooo Jin Hyeon seemed so sure and like he really liked you so it's worth talking it through INSTEAD OF FLYING TO FRANCE FOR A WHOLE SUMMER??? DUMBASS. Very annoying. But the relationship was healthy and I did enjoy the trope. The ending felt rushed, but I didn't hate it ig. Debating between 2 and 3 stars since it was rushed and there's definitely plot holes and things that could be expanded upon...
A Trace of the Wonder
(Writing this while I'm shitting cause it gets my brain wheels turning) THIS DESERVES 6 STARS BRO, 5 AINT ENOUGH. Spectacular story omggggg. From start to finish it was so fucking interesting holy shit. I wasn't expecting the horror elements nor the serious/psychological plot. Yiseon's backstory was absolutely tragic; losing his parents first while on a trip with his friends, being left all alone, together, but then losing them too. Jesus fuck. The guilt he felt for using them and not letting them rest in peace just so he could live was so intense and heart-shattering, and he vowed to also take his own life to be with them after he let them rest with the help of Hyeon. Both Hyeon and Yiseon were using each other: Hyeon was using Yiseon's abilities to overthrow his brother and better Chord's influence and public opinion while Yiseon was using Hyeon's nullification ability to set his friends free and then to kill himself, since he alone couldn't due to his powers. That realization was crazy. I loved their contrast, both in colors, abilities, and roles. They acted as each other's light, their sun. Hyeon, despite his deep ties to the shadows (both metaphorically and literally) acted as Yiseon's light, who broke the shackles tying him to his past and whose love made him want to keep living, while Yiseon strayed Hyeon from the path of darkness, from the cold vengeance and revenge, and shone the needed light in his life, warmed his heart. I loved them both. Both showed such deep character, and developed so well in the story, but especially Yiseon. It was a whole journey of ups and downs and plot twists, with no plot holes and nice, natural ties to everything. Hyeon had left me confused for some time, as I wasn't sure if he was just using Yiseon or if he truly liked him. Now I know that it was both. He was using him both physically and psychologically to obtain his goal and achieve his vendetta against his brother, but during his pace he fell in love with Yiseon, and finally realized his feelings the moment the light of his life was about to extinguish. Apart from the romance aspect of it though, the whole manhwa was so fucking cool. I loved the fighting and the 7 chain dungeons. (It showed ancient Greek omg I was freaking out. ONE TIME IT WAS MODERN GREEK THO BRO THAT AINT ANCIENT GREEK- whatever). I adored the team so much. Every time they talked about a future with Yiseon it broke my heart. Love themmmm. Glad they are all friends now and happy. They were so sweet and understanding and badass and were their own characters too which I love. Idk what else to say. It was amazing. Totally recommend.
Netkama Punch!!!
Damn this was really good. The pace of the story was very good and natural and each scene was well written. The characters were very good too. I love how both fell for each other in the process of their revenge lmao. I love gamer stuff, wish there were more stories like this. Heard there's a novel and I want to buy it. I wasn't expecting for Heejae to be a psycho lmao, quite a surprise. Read it within 2 nights, it got me hooked so bad. Very sad it ended. Fuck Yoona. Love Hyejin and Lala (especially his piercing omgmgmmggmmg)
Until Morning Light
I LOVE GUIDEVERSE. The art is a tad bit ugly but it's okay, so are you reading this . The pace was a bit weird, but that's because it just skipped a bit. So while they did stay together a lot and did have time and the circumstances to start liking each other, when that's not showed it does ruin it for me and makes it unsatisfying. So much drama, I'm sad his basically mentor sacrificed himself. There's definitely plot holes, and I'm sad it's as short as it is. It definitely needs more chapters. First time I see anyone in an apocalyptic/action setting BREAK THEIR TOE NAIL. POINTS GAINED FOR REALISM.
Boy Meets Maria
As a trans guy this hit harder than I expected. I shouldn't have doubted the impact of those 6 chapters; "it's just 6 chapters how much damage can they do" I WAS A FOOL. My stomach hurts. Chapter 4 was SICK. And I theorized it but the man that saved Arima being Taiga's DAD!?!?!? AND THATS WHY HE MISSED HIS WIFE'S DEATH?? FUCKKK THE MISUNDERSTANDING KILLS ME. I'm upset. But the premise was beautiful. The characters were beautiful. It's a masterpiece. Definitely something that also needs rereading; I will definitely buy a physical copy. Rip to the author.
