This was funny but so cringe god help me
A Trace of the Wonder
(Writing this while I'm shitting cause it gets my brain wheels turning) THIS DESERVES 6 STARS BRO, 5 AINT ENOUGH. Spectacular story omggggg. From start to finish it was so fucking interesting holy shit. I wasn't expecting the horror elements nor the serious/psychological plot. Yiseon's backstory was absolutely tragic; losing his parents first while on a trip with his friends, being left all alone, together, but then losing them too. Jesus fuck. The guilt he felt for using them and not letting them rest in peace just so he could live was so intense and heart-shattering, and he vowed to also take his own life to be with them after he let them rest with the help of Hyeon. Both Hyeon and Yiseon were using each other: Hyeon was using Yiseon's abilities to overthrow his brother and better Chord's influence and public opinion while Yiseon was using Hyeon's nullification ability to set his friends free and then to kill himself, since he alone couldn't due to his powers. That realization was crazy. I loved their contrast, both in colors, abilities, and roles. They acted as each other's light, their sun. Hyeon, despite his deep ties to the shadows (both metaphorically and literally) acted as Yiseon's light, who broke the shackles tying him to his past and whose love made him want to keep living, while Yiseon strayed Hyeon from the path of darkness, from the cold vengeance and revenge, and shone the needed light in his life, warmed his heart. I loved them both. Both showed such deep character, and developed so well in the story, but especially Yiseon. It was a whole journey of ups and downs and plot twists, with no plot holes and nice, natural ties to everything. Hyeon had left me confused for some time, as I wasn't sure if he was just using Yiseon or if he truly liked him. Now I know that it was both. He was using him both physically and psychologically to obtain his goal and achieve his vendetta against his brother, but during his pace he fell in love with Yiseon, and finally realized his feelings the moment the light of his life was about to extinguish. Apart from the romance aspect of it though, the whole manhwa was so fucking cool. I loved the fighting and the 7 chain dungeons. (It showed ancient Greek omg I was freaking out. ONE TIME IT WAS MODERN GREEK THO BRO THAT AINT ANCIENT GREEK- whatever). I adored the team so much. Every time they talked about a future with Yiseon it broke my heart. Love themmmm. Glad they are all friends now and happy. They were so sweet and understanding and badass and were their own characters too which I love. Idk what else to say. It was amazing. Totally recommend.
Gorani Jeon
Now this was crazy. The art pulled me in, which truly was beautiful, but I can't lie, at times, Bau looked fucking insane. Bro kept bulging his eyes and omg he looked psycho. Was he trying to look seductive or something? Cause he failed. Miserably. It was an insane manga. Idk leave me alone. I'm confused. The deer haunts me. ️brilliance️ Gao Ying is an uncanny valley baby, even more uncanny WHEN SHE TURNED INTO A DEER. Idk man idk. This was a ride. I hated the dancing. ️brilliance️
Crimson Ocean
BRO FELT PLEASURE WHILE GIVING BIRTH??? Stockholm Syndrome at its finest
Until Morning Light
I LOVE GUIDEVERSE. The art is a tad bit ugly but it's okay, so are you reading this . The pace was a bit weird, but that's because it just skipped a bit. So while they did stay together a lot and did have time and the circumstances to start liking each other, when that's not showed it does ruin it for me and makes it unsatisfying. So much drama, I'm sad his basically mentor sacrificed himself. There's definitely plot holes, and I'm sad it's as short as it is. It definitely needs more chapters. First time I see anyone in an apocalyptic/action setting BREAK THEIR TOE NAIL. POINTS GAINED FOR REALISM.
How That Guide Is Loved
This was really good ^^. I LOVE GUIDEVERSE. YOU SEE? EVEN THO IT HAD SKIPS, IT SHOWED ENOUGH TO BE UNDERSTANDABLE AND SATISFYING. For 8 chapters I think it was done well. Not much you could have done more with such a plot ig. Dragging it on could have easily become annoying I think.
My Best Friend♂ Confessed to Me in a Dating Sim
THIS WAS SO GOOD I love BL that includes games idk why. I also love the trope that they were sucked into the game, a dating sim no less. Pota was very likeable. I loved them both so much I wanted moreeeeee side chapters.
I WANT TO XX WITH YOU
BRO CUT HIS HAIR IN THE END?? ENOUGH. Sanho was a HORNY ASS BASTARD WAS SO OBSESSED WITH THE GAME CHARACTER LMAO. PUTTING A DILDO ON HIS BODY PILLOW AND RIDING IT IS SOME INSANE WORK. I did feel bad about Sa Baek Hwa at times, because he was so clueless and Sanho was taking advantage of him. They did end up falling for each other which is nice, maybe would have been smoother and more satisfying if the story was longer, but it's fine. Sanho was insane for what he did, but I'm trying to understand him a bit. Apart from being IMMENSELY HORNY, bro was also just lonely. And he did find his perfect man in Sa Baek Hwa (love writing his name btw) so it makes sense for bro to be reluctant to let go. The plot twist at the end - when we find out it was actually Sa Baek Hwa who removed himself from the game in the first place - was insaneee. Jaw dropped. Very cool. And I like that at the end he was also the one who wanted to stay with Sanho. Very cringe at times, also very embarrassing from an outside perspective, like Jungho's for example, because yeah Sanho just looks so insanely obsessed with a video game character like if this happened irl I'd argue to put him in a psych ward. Anyway it wasn't that bad. Comedic at times. I do think it's not a bad idea and so could have been executed a bit better.
B-Class Guide
THIS SHIT WAS GOOODODODOD FUCKKKK. I HAD SO MUCH FUN READING. DO JIYOON WAS A CUTIE PATOOTIE. It was kinda insane. Very low-key toxic. Do Jiyoon was a mad fucker frfr. It's good that Jaeha wasn't manipulated tho, he saw through him and still liked the trash lel. I was between giving 4 and 5 stars just because of the abrupt ending. I NEEDED MOREEEE. WHERE IS THE IMPRINTING?? I WAS PROMISED IMPRINTING. FUCK KIM KANGMIN ALL MY HOMIES HATE THAT BITCH. Also is the guiding chief confirmed dead??? Idk. Hopefully. Very good characters, very good story development. Just the end needed tweeking.
