ik the ending was rushed cuz the author had to retire, but man it felt so incomplete. the two of them still had so much they needed to work out, and their relationship was still more than a little rocky. i hope the author is able to come back someday and maybe pick up this work again. if not, i hope they find another job they are just as happy in.
