Killing Stalking
Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation
what the fuck. this is such a good story omfg. Throughout the flashbacks the author gave so much references as to why the character acted this way or why the characters did something. It's such a good psychological story to read, the only problem i have with it is that it didn't answer all of my questions, like what was that with the lost prince being named lewellyn ?!?! was lewellyn the lost prince or was it shavonne who was an orphan?! who knows. Other than that i really loved the writing and how you had to reference back to the story to have your questions answered (except for the few ones i mentioned)
The Beast Must Die
IM SO SAD THIS HAS TO END IT'S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BITTERSWEET STORY although, their relationship with each other is not the healthiest but, they have such a complex relationship with each other that i love so much. The whole was just amazing too, i can't even begin describing because of how so many things that had happen.
Checkmate(TAN)
SUCH a good story! Soohyun had a rival back then in highschool who was always no. 1 which angered him because he was always the no. 2 and was always the one getting picked on for it. Years later and he finds out about him again getting caught up in a huge fiasco about "stealing an artwork". He interviewed Eunsung to know the whole story but he ended up getting caught in a huge mess. He told Eunsung that he would help him drag his former art teacher down with all the horrible sexual abuses he has done to his pupils, but of course Park was crazy enough to also make his moves. I loved the story but i feel like it could have been squeezed into 50 chapters or something because halfway through the story, i just felt bored and i felt like i couldn't finish the story since it mostly felt like filler chapters until chapter 90 onwards. However, I did like how Soohyun was clear on what his boundaries were and what he wanted but, i did not like his Love-Hate feelings for Eunsung. He was obsessive but also pushed him away at the same time, which was making me feel confused about his character. I loved the ending too but I wish they made them more lovey-dovey with each other after everything that has happened and after everything they've gone through because it really felt like their relationship was so bland and not giving what it's supposed to give. Although, i did feel how much Eunsung loved Soohyun. That alone made me love their relationship, but not much on the dynamic itself. However, i still like them very much, i just think this could've been better. I also noticed how i feel the same after reading the author's old work which was "Stalker's Game". I usually love psychology manhwas but i think that both stories could've done better. Ultimately though, I think i still really liked Checkmate better than "Stalkers Game".
Palace of Bardo
oh my god i love this so much It is a world where people who lived a life that did horrible things will be reborn again until they've atoned for their sin. Hun is an architect of the palace that was hired by the Emperor. He fell for the emperor after he told him that Hun will build a palace for him that should last thousands of years, not knowing that he would be tortured and mentally abused by the emperor because of his obsession with him. Later after Hun died due to poisoning by his own brother that was in love with him, He was reborn to once again atone for his sins. He wanted to die quickly so that he would not make things worse and repeat the same history that happened but the reborn emperor soon found him again. Time passed and Hun is still scared of the emperor, but the eunuch told the emperor what happened in the past and told him that he should cherish him more, cherish him more than he did in his past life and take good care of him. The emperor took the eunuch's advice and changed for the better. The history around them was repeating but they were both changing for the better so that every bad thing that happened will be stopped. At the end, they of course lived happily ever after. I loved the story and how their relationship has changed from their past life. I loved how the emperor and his kid were both fighting for Hun's love and attention Although, i did not like how the emperor was still a bad father to his kid. Other than that i really love their whole little family going on. I also loved how the crowned prince and Hun developed a bond together to the point that everyone around them thought that the crowned prince was willing to call Hun his own mother rather than his actual stepmother. They really bonded well with each other i love them so much.
