that was absolutely heartbreaking.. from the art, to the story, the concept, the religious trauma that I understood so much. This story is a masterpiece. Disheartened by the ending but I think that they got the ending that was genuinely best for them. An eternal paradise where they wouldn't have to worry about their past, their background. Just the endless horizon of the pacific ocean and each other to worry about. Maybe in another life they'll do laundry and share each other's clothes again. Maybe in that life they won't have to sleep inn to inn, they won't have to sleep with strangers just to survive. Maybe in an another life, they'll live that paradise they've always dreamt about.
