Saihyou to Tokeru

Complete | Snow 1,Koko Suwaru | 2000 released

This was pretty good but not my favorite manga I have ever read. I literally read this bc the art style and the fact that the main character looked like ASHfrom Banana Fish O_O Overall the concept was pretty cool, but the ending was super predicatble so I feel like that was the main reason to why I didn't enjoy it as much. The art style was beautiful though, and I loved the character desgin. Overall this was an ok read.

Amaeru Kubiwa

Complete | koko suwaru | 2015 released

Tbh this was a bit confusing to read bc I was not expecting two stories (I should have read the tags). Overall it was pretty interesting but the pacing of the first story was off and with how short the second one was I don't think I really got to appreciate it as much as I could have. Both were really cool concepts but the execution wasn't that good. I enjoyed the second story though, it was sweet and interesting.

This was cute, it is nice to see a BL couple who are confident and open in front of other people. Romance wise the buildup was pretty quick but since this was only tech 5 chapters I didn't mind. The plot was cute and I really liked the dynamic between the main couples' characters, it was very endearing to read. The art style is a bit on the old side but I liked it and the character designs were adorable. Overall this was a pretty good read.

Himono, Tokodoki, Shanairen'ai

Complete | Haruta | 2017 released

I don't normally read age gap manga (in general) since it's not my cup of tea but kudos to this author because I really enjoyed reading this. I adored the characters dynamic because the author made their relationship seem so sweet and comfortable unlike with other manga where age gaps do affect their relationship and it makes reading them feel awkward. The story was adorable and the ART! It was so pleasing to look at and I found no faults in there what-so-ever, the character designs, proportions, facial expressions, and especially the cover pages for each chapter were so well done. Overall I really enjoyed reading this and highly recommend to any BL reader.

Scratch Blue

Complete | MITSUYA Bond | 2017 released

Legit this made me sooo confused at some times, at the end I understood everything but while reading it really threw me for a loop haha. The overall plot is pretty interesting but the execution was a bit confusing to my liking, a majority of it was mostly due to how it was narrated (where we would see a "personality switch" with the main character). The characters were really cool tho, and I liked the plot of the story. The art style is VERY well done as well, the character designs are so pleasing to look at. Overall this was not a bad story and I liked it but it's definitely not one of my all-time favorites.

Okusama wa Alpha

Complete | fuyu natsushita | 2000 released

Wow, this one was a roller coaster. I really enjoyed reading this, the plot was interesting and I really liked the dynamics of the main characters. BUT ... yes, there were some very problematic things going on throughout the story, the mom really did the most problematic things without her son's best interests in mind, the doctor's methods were VERY IFFY, and the uke was in the wrong BUT the ending was nice. No everyone is not redeemed but we can see the genuine love between the main characters and they had the most precious baby who I wish we could have seen more of. Also, do NOT get me started on the art!!! IMMACULATE, the proportions, the facial expressions, the character designs, the shading, literally everything was so pretty, and pleasing to look at. Overall this was a pretty good read, WILD yes, but really good none-the-less.

Sakurada-senpai Kaizou Keikaku

Complete | AZUMA Kaya | 2018 released

I don't normally give out 5 stars bc I feel like only the best to the best deserve it but THIS MANGA RIGHT HERE takes the fucking cake. This was one of the FUNNIEST things I have ever read, I was here cackling every 5 mins. For a gag manga, the author honestly did very well, and apparently, when this came out she was very new to BL writing but it really doesn't show because she wrote a really entertaining story, and the art is AMAZING. I was so scared for a while bc there are some iffy problematic parts in here but the way the author resolves it in such a humorous way redeems everything and I just love it. The characters are just so entertaining and loveable, and for a story that just revolves around sex the author did so well, I feel like I just read a fulfilling book about each character's whole life story. I absolutely adored everything about this from her artstyle, to the character's dialogue, to the funny facial expressions, and to the caring way the seme, despite being known as the "Emporer" of the prestigious BDSM club, acts during plays and outside of plays is just so great. This was generally one of the most entertaining BL's I have ever read, and I will definitely be reading this again. Overall this deserves a 69/69 and I highly recommend this to readers who like BDSM and just really want a good laugh
