Junai Drop Out
I freaking LOVE this author, all of their works are just perfection. Their art style is amazing, we have great character dynamics, hot sex scenes, CONSENT!, and somewhat of a romance plot. With most yaoi (obv) it's just centered around the sex and all other story components are thrown out the window, but here the author gave us a build-up which is a nice change of pace. And fr no cap the uke MMMMMMMMMM what a man, the piercings, and their facial expressions!!! We have been blessed
Retsujo Love Cross
This was really sweet and worth the read. I'm a slut for cute art styles, so the character designs were really nice. The plot itself was pretty fulfilling going by basic yaoi standards of just quick sex scenes, we had some nice relationship build-up.
Dear Signal
This is literally one of the cutest concepts EVER! This was so wholesome and the art is AMAZING, their body proportions, facial expressions, even the "rashes" were on point. I loved both couples and wish there was more!, I really have no complaints about this manga.
Crack Star
I am a sucker for really pretty art styles and this author SERVES! The plot itself was ok and pretty mild as far as yaoi goes. I will say I like the dynamic between the two love interests because they are just so natural with eachother. People be hating on the "bathroom fuck scene" but tbh it really was not that bad, I mean have you seen other yaoi (some really do fuck you up). Overall was an ok read, really pretty art style UGH!!!!!
December Rain
This manhwa is VERY different from what I normally read. As an avid reader, I tend to keep my book preferences and yaoi/manhwa preferences separate (so I enjoy this genre but not necessarily with BL) but this was a very enjoyable read. The plot itself was very unique and definitely helps convey a beautiful yet sorrowful story about Chusaem and Gusam's love for each other and although very short we can see just how much they were willing to sacrifice for one another. The art style was very simplistic (which is what I tend to stay away from, not in a bad way though!!!) but I feel that it really did fit this story very well. The scenery and clothing design was very well done. I really wish we could have gone more into depth about the murder and gotten to see more of K because everything relating to that is very vague. As for the ending, it was to be expected and all but it was very befitting for this type of storyline, it really helped express the eerie mood of the webtoon. Overall very good read!
SV Koi no Shinchoku ni Tsuite
This was a pretty mediocre story, the plot was cute ngl but there were some problems within the storyline and a few unresolved issues that left the story feeling a bit empty. The art style was VERY well done though, no complaints there. We have very nice looking characters, with great proportions, and that are easily distiguishable. Overall was an ok read.
Motto Musunde, Aite Waya
This manga is pretty mediocre. A classic straight to gay story, but overall this was pretty funny and showed a pretty decent portrayal of a healthy BDSM relationship (even though this story isn't focused very heavily on the relationship aspect of BDSM). The art overall was well done, and the author did very well with drawing bondage scenes (the proportions and positions were very realistic). All in all, this was an ok read.
Ezuke wa Yahan, Ano Heya de
This whole manga was generally an amazing read. I don't normally read one-shots, I hate being left unsatisfied because I always end up wanting more content. But these stories were well done and very satisfying, for how short they were, each story had a well-set plot and great characters. I really liked how the author ended up connecting the first three stories together and we even got to see all the characters interacting with each other. Another thing I liked about this manga was the art style! The author's character design was great and even though there were so many different main characters they ended up differentiating each one, and I fell in love with all of them. Their proportions, facial expressions, clothing, and even the backgrounds were on point. The only thing that left me confused was the very last story, it felt like it kinda just came out of nowhere (but in no way am I complaining). The storyline was not connected unlike the first three, and I was not expecting a zombie au when the main reason I read this was for the vampires. I have to say that the last story was definitely my favorite, of course, I would have loved for it to have ended differently but it seemed very befitting. It definitely broke my heart a bit. Overall this was a great read and I highly recommend this to any yaoi audience.
Back to School: All Grown Up
I read the main story a while ago so it was nice to see a sequel to finally put the story to a close. The creator really upped their fanservice game since the first story so it was nice to see that aspect of the characters. It was interesting to see the author draw an alternate universe to give a glimpse of how Jihyun's and Chiwoo's relationship would have been if it wasn't toxic and there was no sexual abuse. Overall this was an ok read and a nice finish tothe creators series.
