Okusama wa Alpha

Complete | fuyu natsushita | 2000 released

Wow, this one was a roller coaster. I really enjoyed reading this, the plot was interesting and I really liked the dynamics of the main characters. BUT ... yes, there were some very problematic things going on throughout the story, the mom really did the most problematic things without her son's best interests in mind, the doctor's methods were VERY IFFY, and the uke was in the wrong BUT the ending was nice. No everyone is not redeemed but we can see the genuine love between the main characters and they had the most precious baby who I wish we could have seen more of. Also, do NOT get me started on the art!!! IMMACULATE, the proportions, the facial expressions, the character designs, the shading, literally everything was so pretty, and pleasing to look at. Overall this was a pretty good read, WILD yes, but really good none-the-less.

Sakurada-senpai Kaizou Keikaku

Complete | AZUMA Kaya | 2018 released

I don't normally give out 5 stars bc I feel like only the best to the best deserve it but THIS MANGA RIGHT HERE takes the fucking cake. This was one of the FUNNIEST things I have ever read, I was here cackling every 5 mins. For a gag manga, the author honestly did very well, and apparently, when this came out she was very new to BL writing but it really doesn't show because she wrote a really entertaining story, and the art is AMAZING. I was so scared for a while bc there are some iffy problematic parts in here but the way the author resolves it in such a humorous way redeems everything and I just love it. The characters are just so entertaining and loveable, and for a story that just revolves around sex the author did so well, I feel like I just read a fulfilling book about each character's whole life story. I absolutely adored everything about this from her artstyle, to the character's dialogue, to the funny facial expressions, and to the caring way the seme, despite being known as the "Emporer" of the prestigious BDSM club, acts during plays and outside of plays is just so great. This was generally one of the most entertaining BL's I have ever read, and I will definitely be reading this again. Overall this deserves a 69/69 and I highly recommend this to readers who like BDSM and just really want a good laugh

Gurume no Fukurami

Complete | Akahoshi jake | 2000 released

This was weird really weird ... but SO funny, the plot was entertaining, and I liked the characters. Also 10/10 sex scenes, that was hot. The art style was interesting too, I liked the way the author drew proportions. Overall this wasn't a bad read.

Haikyuu!! dj - Kono Machi ni Sunderu Karera no Koto

Complete | Sashikiz,Gusari | 2000 released

Free Kisses

Complete | akahoshi jake | 2015 released

This was an ... interesting read, the plot was entertaining, and it really wasn't a bad story for how short it was but it's also kinda like one of those "Wtf did I just read". I kinda liked it, but I really wished they would have talked about the tutor incident more, I was expecting us to see him again after and that problem being somewhat solved, and the fact the second ml looked similar to him also threw me off. I really liked the relationship aspect of the story tho, although they weren't "completely out" they still had a lot of meaningful moments together, and it was nice to see them have a lot of skinship publicly too. The art style is also nice, I really liked the character designs. Overall this was not a bad read but probably not for everyone.

Yakuza wo Shibatte Ii desu ka

Complete | suji | 2019 released

I thought this was going to revolve purely around sex and be super kinky and turns out I got a really good story with cool characters, an interesting plot, and really nice art. This had nice pacing and I like how the author revealed the "twist" at the end, it really was a game changer for the main characters relationship. The dynamic bewteen the characters and their ineractions was so sweet and the bondage scenes O_O dfnvlsnfvlsdnlv well done!!!! Overall this was a really good read, and I totally reccomend it especially for those who like bondage :)

1.5 Meters From Love

Complete | Mn | 2019 released

The art for this is literally some of the prettiest things I have EVER seen, the characters design is IMMACULATE, and I just adore all of the little details like one of the main character's tattoos, and earrings. Literally, the art is just so beautiful, I love everything about it, and it makes the story just 100 times better. Overall the plot for this was interesting and I loved the chemistry between the love interests, it's funny how the masks ended up being relevant to us today. The only thing that I didn't entirely like was the pacings, it was a bit weird and it made the storyline a bit confusing. Overall I did enjoy reading this and really wished it was longer.

Tattooed Love

Complete | Jung Seokchan | 2019 released

This was soooo good, it was short and sweet and to the point. The plot, though very short, was well done and entertaining. I also really loved the art style, the character designs were amazing. Overall this was satisfying and I absolutely adored it. For only two chapters we get a nice balance of story and smut :)

Ore to Aitsu no Jikangai ××

Complete | WAKOKO Wako,wacoco waco | 2016 released

This was a pretty funny story, it was refreshing to see a small seme. Obviously, since this is a story that revolves around sex there isn't a lot of plot but the minimal plot they had was ok. I liked how easily the lover interests got together, and I especially liked the chemistry between the main couple. Also the ENDING, the "twist" was so funny, I was NOT expecting that. The art was pretty nice too, I liked how the author designed the characters, and the body proportions were really good too. Overall this was a pretty ok read

A Shoulder to Cry On

Complete | Dongmul | 2000 released

This was just a REALLY great yet fucked up story, that did an amazing job depicting one of the main characters' traumas and showing us their character development. I read this for pain and hurt and the author delivered, Taehyun is just a very messed up character who needed help and I love how the author depicted his mental state, and actually SHOWED us the reason behind it. At the same time, I also liked how depicted Dayeol's trauma, because his is just more real and relatable and made us sympathize with him. A few people were disappointed with the ending but I really felt that it was well done and really fits the story. Both characters though they do show clear signs of character development, are still struggling with their traumas, and just because they did get together, that doesn't mean all their problems will be solved overnight. Through the author leaving us with a more open ending, it shows us that they were able to make it that far and still will have many problems to work on but they are happy now, and it leaves us on a hopeful note. Also, the art style for this is IMMACULATE, it is so well done and I LOVE the coloring. The character design and even scenery is so well done, despite some of the characters being hella shitty, they are all just soooo good looking. Overall this was a pretty good read, and I'd totally recommend this to anyone who likes these sorts of psychological trauma BL's.
