King's Maker
TW: violence, pedophile The word with which I would describe this work is "original". Starting from the drawing style, up to the plot itself, it's as if this manhwa had paved the way for a new genre, a genre of its own. First of all, the writing of this work is truly exceptional, as if you were reading a book. There are no holes in the plot and with each chapter the story gets more and more interesting. The description of the main characters is also crazy, especially once the two children then become adults a superb psychological introspection is made, especially of Shin. Really love it, I can't wait for the new season.
Flower Under the Lantern
TW: non-con, rape, manipulation For me it's a no. The MC is so pitiful, raped by the emperor because only in that way will the latter be able to regain his health and at the same time manipulated by the ML. It almost seems like a story created only to mentally and physically destroy the poor protagonist (who lacks character). There could have been some potential, but it disappeared after a few panels in my opinion. Nor is the art my cup of tea.
