dropped at ch 20. Mediocre. The setting is interesting enough albeit not original. Mixing cultivation and western fantasy is a great combo if executed right and the worst story if not. The pace of the story is off. They took way too much time on unimportant things and some sections are way too fast. The plot is decent although I don't know for sure about the MC goal. Revive the demonic cultivation? revive his former self? extarminate all the foreign creature? revenge? it's unclear. The MC is infuriating. He is an asshole from what I read. I have also enough of arrogant prick MCs that seem intelligent but actually aren’t. The MC is supposed to be the most heavenly demon which means he should possess both arrogance and wisdom, but here they portray the MC as an arrogant person with a kid mentality and an asshole with no wisdom whatsoever. He has no redeeming quality apart from his strengh. Not even smarts because the story itself keeps comparing him with others that are even more arrogant and book smart. Also for me only the mercenary and the glasses guy are a tad decent.
