Thoroughbred wa nabikanai
It's good and has a different charm compared to the wolfĂ—rabbit story. My favorite parts were seeing Shishidou's lion cub form (all their interactions while they were younger as besties were just so cute ><) and the aftercare he did for Shiba when he passed out in the middle of sex. It's even implied that he does that routine everytime they finish and I just find it so sweet that he likes taking care of Shiba like that even though he says he isn't a good guy like Shirou (wolf from the other story). It was also shocking to see the real meaning behind Shiba saying "disgusting" when they had their falling out as friends. I'm usually not a fan of the fwb setup but in the end they did have real feelings for each other, a series of misunderstandings just prevented them from facing that fact sooner :')
Camboy Bunny
There was a bit of plot at the start but it quickly escalated to nothing more than just a smutfest :') Their relationship is cute and non-toxic though at the very least.
Drugless Sex
From the same person who made Mother's Spirit. Honestly, maybe I expected too much from this. The couple I liked the most was the switch couple and the office worker with the deli dude. The last story was... something. I didn't really like it but hey at least both of them are equally f'd up for each other. This is most likely just a smut manga with some plot sprinkled into it as decoration.
Totsugimasen Kara!
Well, it was cute but I feel like everything happened way too quickly. Itsuki had more chemistry with Kiri towards the end and the two of them even kissed! Can't believe we had a kiss scene with the second lead but none with the actual male lead. This whole story plays off of shoujo tropes but made it omegaverse and gay. Sadly, the execution wasn't great. It definitely had potential and I wish we got to see the build up in the relationship between the two leads more.
Plum Love
Kinda silly-goofy plot. The usual childhood friends where one is in love and the other is in denial. It was pretty cool that at least the uke seemed to have a proper reason as to why he didn't want to entertain the idea of having a relationship with the seme. Other than freaking out from their height difference (understandable), it's insinuated that he was concerned of how a relationship between the two of them could possibly impact the seme's career as a professional athlete. The body proportions for the leads are wack, both when the uke was tall and when he got back to his original height. It was a pretty fun short read though.
The Fallen Duke & the Knight Who Hated Him
I left this to marinate and now I come back after a little over a year of waiting to find that this masterpiece got CANCELLED?! I'm actually so sad. Guess I'll just go read the novel now because I really want to see how the relationship between our leads progress :')
I Raised My Fiancé with Money
Karhan is so adorable >< This story feels very refreshing in a way, because we can see Ilya being the BAMF that she is while still seeing her soft side as well. I'm so excited to see more of this story, I hope season 2 comes soon. I'm wondering when Ilya will realize that the button she had was actually from Karhan and it wasn't that jerk Rihart who saved her. Their relationship is so slowburn but it makes sense since both leads are still trying to heal from their past experiences. I still can't wait to see how they'd be once they admit their feelings for each other though QwQ
Marronnier Farm Near by the Imperial Palace
This is so fluffy! I love Hazel's personality sm and the story is just slice of life with a bit of fantasy and royalty stuff sprinkled to it.
My "Toy" is Connected to My Best Friend
The classic childhood friends to lovers troupe, where they both thought it was unrequited for a while. Because of the magic sex toy plot point, it was quite uncomfortable to read through the non-con parts. In Jin's defense, he really didn't know. When he found out, he immediately stopped and felt guilty about it. If we ignore that part, I think the two of them are quite cute together. It's one of those reads where you just don't think too much of it. Nothing to write home about but it's not bad either.
Ookami-kun wa kowakunai
