two size, too small

Complete | Mizore | 2000 released

I wish there's more ;-; It's really good! Very fluffy and the couple dynamic is so nice. I *almost* disliked Karl too much because his over protectiveness became quite toxic but him admitting that he needed professional help at the end was a good shock since we don't normally see that (Luca is such a keeper I envy you Karl for having someone like that). The parents of both leads also just vibe and apparently this is set in such an ideal world where same-sex relationships seem to be as normal as breathing (as it should be but in reality society is sht yk). All in all it was a pretty nice read and I hope to be able to afford the author's patreon soon for extra content of these two cinnamonrolls ^^

The First Love of the Sushi Restaurant Owner is a Mermaid

At first glance you'd think Hae-beom is a red flag but he took us by surprise and delivered a whole forest because there's nothing but green everywhere I look. Usually the bar is so low for semes but this one restored my faith in tops with all the delicious consent thrown around. I never knew mermaid smut was something I needed in my life, but this was so hot and sexy it had me rolling, giggling, and kicking my feet in the air. Of course we can't forget about our adorable Sang-ah; he deserves to be loved so much, it's so nice that he found someone like Hae-beom after getting taken advantaged of so much. Their relationship is just too wholesome (goals tbh) and I'm patiently waiting for the official translations so we can hopefully read the rest of the special chapters soon.

This was unexpectedly good. The title was giving off warning sirens but Rocco came through with an actual responsible adult decision and decided to not be impulsive and wait for Liam even if he caught feelings as well. I saw that this is uploaded on webtoon where it's colored and there's Julien's story as well. Honestly, I feel bad for him because he does love Liam a lot but what can we do when the other party doesn't feel the same. Personally, I like Liam's personality where he clearly draws the line, no holes barred, on people who confess to him because in my opinion it's more cruel to do it gently and give them the wrong idea to keep holding on. Very short story but pretty good as well in terms of how the two leads' development. I also loved the whole situation with the bestie Stef, good for her for finding her boo as well. A surprisingly green flag plot (delusions were smth tho) for a clearly red flag sounding title.

Good plot, nice art, I loved the way the couple bonded over the course of the story. I'm not too familiar with guideverse stories so this one was a breath of fresh air for me. The only thing that made my blood boil for this one was the multiple attempts on YoonOh's life because he's a "liability" to Hyuntae especially after the imprinting. The dude who was acting as the main antagonist from City Guard didn't really have much of an impact either. He did so much corrupted sht but he went down the "if I go down, you're going down with me" route which was so anticlimactic. On the bright side, there where quite a lot of side characters who were lovable in this series. The side couple's development was pretty interesting, I hope they go exclusive soon. I love how whipped Hyuntae is for YoonOh, consent and communication was also seen throughout this story so that makes it even better.

You and I can't do this

Complete | Oh Doyeon,Moscareto | 2000 released

This is peak healthy relationship right here. What I loved most about this was Hyun-woo's actions even before they defined the relationship as something more than just a hookup. From the get-go he was already quite the gentleman with the small gestures he does for Young-won. He's so funny because he kept saying he's not boyfriend material after all that too. If I was Young-won I would've fallen hard too tbh. The start was hilarious with the bickering between our two leads. Young-won was introduced as a hopeless romantic type where he has this clear idea of a perfect romance that he wants to have. Meanwhile Hyun-woo is a realist and somehow just goes with the flow as his relationships developed. Both of them had such distinct personalities, which made the reading experience so much better. I was anxiously anticipating which one of them would fall first after the no-strings-attached setup happened, but it seems like both of them fell at the same time (which is a surprise since I thought Young-won would be first). Hyun-woo turned out to be more of a cinnamon roll green flag than we could ever ask for, he's seriously such a good partner for Young-won after all the trauma he experienced from past relationships. Wish we could've seen the wedding though. I absolutely loved the narrative this story painted to us readers. I felt like we were able to explore how their relationship developed and the things that changed for the better for the both of them after they became official. Honestly, I don't do enemies to lovers troupe that much but this one was so good I'm thinking I should explore that troupe more. This was funny, felt realistic, has SexEd along the way, the leads actually communicate and are always honest with each other (just a healthy relationship in general), and had a lovely conclusion. That last panel with both of them smiling so happily made me all warm and fuzzy inside. It's definitely up there as one of the best BLs I've ever read.

It's not phenomenal, but it's good to read if you don't have anything else. The art is nice and character designs are very good (especially Eunkyum's friend lol). To be honest Jihyuk (top) was such a douche and immature bastard in the earlier part of the story. He held a grudge for something stupid that Eunkyum (bottom) said to him 10 years ago when they were teens and decided to get revenge using petty ways like abusing his position as someone higher up in the company. He also raped Eunkyum (drunk sex) and had dub-con intercourse multiple times with the bottom saying 'No' and him just basically saying 'Nah, bro ik you like it' resulting to Eunkyum either blacking out or just crying from too much stimulation. It got cute later on but Jihyuk made me very uncomfortable a lot of times during nsfw scenes. Their bickering is pretty entertaining and Eunkyum's siblings are adorable so that's a plus for this story.

Love Tractor

Complete | Heumnyumnyom,Aengmon,Yalgae | 2019 released

Another story to remind me how painfully single I am (lol). On a serious note though, this was really good. We could see the growth in Yool, with regards to recovering from trauma and finding himself again before going into a commitment with his partner. While Yechan patiently waited and found the path he wants to take as an adult because he took inspiration from Yool's passion. The two of them complement each other in many different aspects to the point that they feel so perfect for each other. Regarding the story development, I like that Insuh became this older brother character after all was said and done. Thinking that Insuh and Yool's relationship was more of a right people but wrong time situation makes sense to me. Although some things in Insuh's POV rubbed me off the wrong way, ultimately I believe the real villain here is Yool's dad. Thankfully his mom and sister are super suportive, the same can also be said about Yechan's parents. Overall this is a fluff story through and through, though we have some very censored spicy scenes (which doesn't make it any less hotter btw... cuz buff uke yk). Seeing the journey of the leads from bickering, growing onto each other, then eventually being in a healthy relationship looking extremely content made me all warm inside making this so much worth the read.
