The basic idea behind it and the way it developed in the world the author created and that ending, oh god, it's an open type of ending like we don't know for sure if he passed away so he could be with him or if that dream was just one his niece had after her uncle died. Of course, we hope they finally got to be together in the dragon's realm.

This is a pure masterpiece. My No. 1 no doubt. (●'◡'●)ﾉ I've watched the anime and I've read the manga from the start too cause I didn't wanna miss even a small detail. I just love it. Even the music is out of this world. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I hope now that Sensei is feeling better, she may make a comeback within this new year. One can only hope. (˘◡˘) *SPOILERS* In my opinion Hachi chose Takumi (not only because she was torn between him and Nobu) but because he could help raise the child and for them to be secure/safe, and because she couldn't push that burden on Nobu who barely had a job and had his dream of making his band work. That was why he cherished her and was careful with the condoms while Takumi wasn't. If you ask me about Takumi, it was his ego that made him propose to Hachi so he could win over Nobu and low-key take responsibility in case the child was his. And also there was a scene where Baldy told Shin to think carefully about why Nana (Hachi) chose Takumi over him. And that was the scene where Nobu found out about the conditions of his new girlfriend Asami problems being an AV actress.

There's an anime adaptation for this and I just love the OST.
