The second story is about an English major university student loving his assaistant professor, and how it all turns out so tragic when the assistant kills his wife in despair and gets mentally ill from it. Also, an unemployed gay man helps a (gay) young neurodivergent young man with shizophrenia get better.

10.1.2024 ch 18 It starts out

13.5.2024 A doctor working with medical interns notices how one of them falls ill with a weird disease. After the intern assaults him, biting his neck because he has become a newborn vampire and is blood-starved, the doctor diagnoses him with “a rare blood disease, cause unknown” and puts him on a permanent transfusion list. They live together for 37 years, a couple trying to live and lowkey love one another while the apparent age gap between them only keeps increasing. In the end, the vampire dies as a “normal human geriatric” despite still looking like he is in his thirties, still missing his partner.
