30.6.2024 ch 41 A really good interpretation of how a slightly jaded man (also, one that constantly lies about what he’s feeling to himself and being rejection sensitive) accounts a story with an unreliable narrative about how he finally met the only other person he ever really liked again…and how hard it was for them to finally both come to terms with that the both love/have loved one another since college. Others describe this as as a toxic relationship, but the unreliable narrative in combination with how they both act with one another (no hard violence, only ever forceful sex that may in fact be consensual ~90% of the time) makes it for a compelling story. The seme has anxiety in regards to the uke, and tries to cope by submissive behavior. The uke is rejection sensitive but still wishes to be spoiled rotten and be lovey-dovey with the seme.
