11.10.2020 - Oh, this one is SO prescious! The story of how two 15-going-on-16 year olds met and fell in love. Yamaguchi Asuka is a honor student, but looks lile a delinquent with his blond hair and scary eyes. When he starts trusting Shinohara Satsuki, his shy and blushy side comes out in spades and it makes him so...fluffy. Satsuki, a shy mousy wallflower of a girl with a hidden personality of a tiger momma, gets saved from a molester by him on the train home, and they go from weird friendship to attraction to crush to teenage love in half a year during that first year of high school. They really have this wholesome thing going on, and they do support one another and try their very best to communicate (even if it at times is only with blushes, hah!) and learn about one another. Only thing that was awful is seeing best boy Ichisawa get turned down by Yamaguchi - that boy was crushing so hard too! - with ”she’s my GIRLFRIEND now” and I felt so bad for our Ishi-boy. (In another BL universe this would have been shounen ai...) But OMG in ch 25 this BL thing is still there! The jealousy is so thick, coming from Ishikawa! 12.6.2023 ch 29 Eeeeh?!? Nani?!? Suddenly, Ishikawa’s bromance turns into him crushing on Satsuki?!? Ch 28-29 is an emotional rollercoaster for the boys in the manga. Teenage boys suddenly having horny/possessive hormones coming on in spades and then some?

10.10.2020 - 16.10.2020 Started reading this one because of UrnaSemper’s review of it: a tender love story between a robot-boy just trying to figure out what feelings are and the perverted reads-too-many-shoujo-manga girl who breaks through his shell. godfdamnt what good characters, theyre so unique and multifaceted and also sooo precious i just wanna squeeze themmmm.” Well, even if the story stops before anything R-rates would happen, you get to see both as a happy couple with 3 kids later down the line. A high school romance that stayed true and strong. Nice story.

16.10.2020 ”...dissing shouju while I secretly inhale that shit like it’s my life support...” was one of the comments on the ”Straight trash is straight trash” recommendation list. This story is tropey as heck, young first love to the max - AND I REALLY LIKED READING IT! UwU

19.10.2020 So, Ai had a crush on her friend the ”big bad boss” (his words) at the office, but he wooed her best friend Moë instead and they started dating. Totally not knowing if she should be sad for herself or happy for her friend, Ai met Kotaro in the park and shared her bento with him. For him, I guess it was love at first sight. Later, he starts working as a temp (but is officially hired shortly after) in the same office, and they start going out. The story is about Kotaro x Ai, as well as Moë x the boss. I really liked it, and the smutty scenes were consensual smut and it felt like the couples really liked one another.

19.10.2020 This manga has two stories in it: one about a baker who falls in love with her 10 year younger part timer (28 vs 18) and the second one is about a salarywoman whose boyfriend wants them to move forwards in their relationship. Also, someone in the comments wrote a great summary of this: ” Comunication? Check Consent? Check Cute story? Check Smut? Check”

The second one, about the politician’s granddaughter and the doctor’s son, was one where they were forcefully separated (because of the shitty grandfather’s politics) but found one another again years later during Doctors Without Borders work.
