11.10.2020 - Oh, this one is SO prescious! The story of how two 15-going-on-16 year olds met and fell in love. Yamaguchi Asuka is a honor student, but looks lile a delinquent with his blond hair and scary eyes. When he starts trusting Shinohara Satsuki, his shy and blushy side comes out in spades and it makes him so...fluffy. Satsuki, a shy mousy wallflower of a girl with a hidden personality of a tiger momma, gets saved from a molester by him on the train home, and they go from weird friendship to attraction to crush to teenage love in half a year during that first year of high school. They really have this wholesome thing going on, and they do support one another and try their very best to communicate (even if it at times is only with blushes, hah!) and learn about one another. Only thing that was awful is seeing best boy Ichisawa get turned down by Yamaguchi - that boy was crushing so hard too! - with ”she’s my GIRLFRIEND now” and I felt so bad for our Ishi-boy. (In another BL universe this would have been shounen ai...) But OMG in ch 25 this BL thing is still there! The jealousy is so thick, coming from Ishikawa! 12.6.2023 ch 29 Eeeeh?!? Nani?!? Suddenly, Ishikawa’s bromance turns into him crushing on Satsuki?!? Ch 28-29 is an emotional rollercoaster for the boys in the manga. Teenage boys suddenly having horny/possessive hormones coming on in spades and then some?
Monogatari no Ketsumatsu wa
14.10.2020 The only part of this story that made me go O.o was the part where they tried on each others’ clothes (boyfriend shirts!) and their eyes were suddenly drawn REALLY HUGE. Like, seriously HUGE. And asking out the other one by saying ”do you want to join my party?” like they’re an NPC companion not gonna lie, but SO CUTE!

A few years down the line, when he’s turning thirty and the boss is turning fourty...the unrequited love comes to light and they become a very lovely couple. The most lovely thing about them is how much they both bring out the best in each other, and how much they complement one another. Oh, the fact that the younger man LOVES his older man’s cooking (he eats it to the point of gettong hamster cheeks!) is adorable. And the say the older man isn’t really shy to say thing even if he blushes and gets embarrassed due to being sex shy a LOT is also lovely. Also, what starts with with girl talk (about how all the women keeps looking at how handsome the younger man is) at a pancake place and ends with boy talk (about masturbatory aids among other things...) over beer and food at home? Well, this couple’s story. Loved it. 30.1.2021 - Volume 2 The older man gets insecure when his superior at work notices his necktie around the younger man’s neck. Drama ensures, and they’re both so unhappy :( (ch 1-2) 24.7.2022 ch 3-5 They fought, and the older guy outed himself to his two collegues (the bosses), and they supported him being in a relationship this messy (with a younger man, and subordinate to boot), and the guys fought and so very much grown up, and made up, made compromises, and damn it my heart can’t take this much amount of reasonable realistic fluff! 20.10.2023 Vol 2 ch 6 - 6.5 + side stories 5.5-5.6 Onsen trip. Moving in together, Nozue proposing to Togawa. Them calling each other Saki (Nozue) and Minoru (Togawa). There’s this pointed scene in the onsen trip when an elderly lady at a ceramics shop treats them very naturally as lovers, and automatically changes a couple set of bowl into two equally large ones. And they both get so flustered because of the acceptance, and it’s so poignant. Damn it, this whole story just goes around your heart and makes it soft and fluffy! Even the sex, goddess damn it!, and it hits so in the feels!
