It reminded me of that English rhyme, where one of the lines go: ”Saturday's child works hard for a living.” Except now…here, it’s about a twenty-something young man—with past trauma of being raped as a gay man by 2-3 of his high school classmates—and loosing all his familial and other support because of it. From the way this story is depicted, he is also HSP. Queue our ML: a thirty-something workaholic that seems to still wonder where in the world he fits in. He’s smart in a business sort of way, and really competent at work, but socially and emotionally he seems very stunted. So, what could have been a “Hey, I just met you today, and I know this is sudden, and you’re really my type…think we could date? Also, I’m…a Dom, but I think I could be kinda vanilla with you.”-sort of miscommunication turned into “Sleep with me. 13 times.” Oh yeah, without saying that he already accepted our MC into his team. The rest (as of ch 32) has turned into how hard our ML tries to sort of change the forced D/s-relationship into a real one. He—heck, THEY!—could have gotten it all SO MUCH BETTER if he at their first “meeting” would have just talked about what he as a Dom had wanted, because our MC has not understood one iota of it all…since the only time he’s ever had sex it was rape and really traumatic. He’s a virgin. Our MC thought he was consenting to 13 times of rape. He doesn’t understand the concept of aftercare, he doesn’t get safeword use, he…just doesn’t even get why he’s falling for his boss. They want so much more—think boyfriends in a D/s-relationship—but our MC trauma and our ML emotional constipation is working against them. They can’t even put a label on their sexual relationship (queue the scene in the car). And there is only 5 times left. 18.9.2024 ch 35 Just 3 times left. And our sweet MC has now realized (as of ch 34) that he’s fallen. And he doesn’t know what to do to be able to keep himself close to his boss/crush/Dom. And our ML…he’s looking at our MC like he’s his blinding light (in the storage closet at the tf team’s client). I love how the facial expressions are drawn so subtle and still so on point. 18.9.2024 ch 38 They had a TALK. With the ML showing the MC his BDSM room at home. In a panic and scared of being pushed aside ”like a stranger”, our MC gets an anxiety attack and confessess. And now our ML knows the MC has deep feelings for him, but he hasn’t yet said ”I like you too” back. Just told him ”I don’t want you leaving my house for several days.” 20.9.2024 ch 39 Oh no…without explaning ANYTHING about a D/s-relationship that’s not just a play relationship, the ML goes and basically shoves our MC into one. Our poor little scared MC is now just wearing the ML’s shirt and is going to be handfed sushi like a D/s pet Why is the ML in such a damned rush?! Why did the talk they had solve NOTHING?!? 25.11.2024 ch 45 12.12.2024 ch 47 (end of season 1) Why, why, WHY is it so hard for some people to express how they’re feeling in a healthy way?

12.7.2024 ch 45 A story about wishing to belong, a story about how a—very—unlikely family was formed. The story goes like this: Ryou had a brother. And an asthmatic cousin. He loved them both, both most of all his cousin. He called them both “his Sun”. His brother and his cousin loved one another. Their family did not approve, so they ran off, had a child they named Yuu (from Twilight) and then tragically died in a car accident when the child was five. All of this led him to despair, and in his grief he managed (10 years later) to draw a functioning demon summoning circle and voila: a demon looking just like his cousin was brought over. She is named Haru. Later, when Ryou recovers from it all in the hospital, Yuu falls into the same circle and summons a demon goddess. Who he asks to be his big sister, now named Chiyo. A lot of family weirdness later, and Ryou learns that Chiyo cannot bring back the dead, and that Haru loves him and will follow him forever, so Ryuo and Haru leaves on a quest to search if there is another way for Ryuo to bring back the dead, leaving Yuu and Chiyo as a family in his house.
