12.7.2024 ch 45 A story about wishing to belong, a story about how a—very—unlikely family was formed. The story goes like this: Ryou had a brother. And an asthmatic cousin. He loved them both, both most of all his cousin. He called them both “his Sun”. His brother and his cousin loved one another. Their family did not approve, so they ran off, had a child they named Yuu (from Twilight) and then tragically died in a car accident when the child was five. All of this led him to despair, and in his grief he managed (10 years later) to draw a functioning demon summoning circle and voila: a demon looking just like his cousin was brought over. She is named Haru. Later, when Ryou recovers from it all in the hospital, Yuu falls into the same circle and summons a demon goddess. Who he asks to be his big sister, now named Chiyo. A lot of family weirdness later, and Ryou learns that Chiyo cannot bring back the dead, and that Haru loves him and will follow him forever, so Ryuo and Haru leaves on a quest to search if there is another way for Ryuo to bring back the dead, leaving Yuu and Chiyo as a family in his house.
