19.7.2020 Miyamoto got saved from his abusive family by an older teacher, and later on fell in love with said teacher. The teacher turned him down (gently) but the unrequited love made Miyamoto unhappy and sad even after sensei’s death. After something - and I’m unsure if it’s only the fact that Miyamoto just suddenly realizes his own attraction to Sensei’s grandchild or if it is just a spur of the moment thing - the slightly younger man and Miyamoto wind up in bed together. The fact that the younger man is okay with Miyamoto’s scarred upper body (due to the abuse he went through) makes Miyamoto more open to a relationship with him in the end. The story ends with Miyamoto praying at sensei’s shrine, telling the grandchild that he’s ”telling sensei about his new love”.
