I loved this. It was the first story I read that was adorable, twisted, and funny all at the same time . Even though the ending was not what I wanted really, I still loved how everything turned out. I loved how it showed that James was content with everything. That he had Samuel now, and Rugal wouldn't bother them anymore. Idk how to really explain it but in some weird way, I believe that deep down James actually, kinda, forgave Rugal for everything. That might be one reason why he didn't kill him. And the only reason I was kinda dissatisfied with the ending is that James still didn't know that he was the one to kill Angle, which made me mad. I figured that he should know because even if it did break him, to find that out, I feel like Samuel would be right there by his side to help him get through it. But, I do understand that the author wanted to show that some things are better left not being found out.
Overall, this was definitely an awesome read and it was a great story.
(Dio and Brett are my babies. In my opinion, they are the best couple.)
