Conflicted... While its a fave dynamic of mine, dark broody bottom x sunshine puppy top. And both the top and bottom are hella sexy with such beautiful art. But it kinda felt stagnant for me? I can't even describe it, but I guess nothing intriguing was happening i guess. Nothing tugged on my heart strings, or had me hot my heels or made me giggle like a schoolgirl or cry etc. It was just a lot of admiring how pretty the two MCs are. The main plot was just an asshole controlling grandfather who is also homophobic. Not that interesting of a plot or of a villain imo. He even says he didn't even care for the father the grandfather killed, so it aint even a revenge plot. The top doesn't even complain about the hostage situation, he pretty much is a doormat. He showed more guts at first and it then that just disappeared after signing the contract. I also thought the bottom's ex lover would have had a bigger role but they didn't. Side note, jealous bottom would've also been fun and interesting to see.
Idk, i just think this story has two gorgeous male leads, with such a good dynamic. But the plot and romance lacked spice and flavour.
