He's so annoying and they have zero chemistry. The plot is also below average and we have the typical trope where she escapes thanks to a contract marriage. Boring. Overdone

The typical plot, girl "saves" (grooms) the poor mistreated kid, so that she won't die in the future or for pity. Insert rich and doting father figure who has a rivalry with the kid for the mc's attention. Insert the girl making plans to leave cause the kid is supposed to be happy with the OG female lead. I expect her either to attempt to leave but getting caught and resolving everything (unlikely) or actually leaving and then there's this like 7 year gap where the male lead finds her and has become a crazy obsessive yandere

Not a villain x villainess, just a cliché shoujo with the pushover doormat, the scumbag ex and the smarter and more powerful male lead. I just wanna know what her spirit actually is

It's cute n all but I skimmed through it for the beautiful art only, a very very typical shoujo

It's your typical misogynistic shoujo, the dude likes the young looking girl because she has a pretty face, big boobs, cooks well and is obedient, the girl is a doormat and has negative self-esteem, believing she's ugly and useless and the guy only worsens this as he tells her to cover her face and that she's his property. Bleh. Now that I write it out it's actually pretty bad

Typical 1st generation fantasy shoujo (bullied young girl gets saved by older powerful dude, discovers a power that can save people, jealous scheming villainess who was the ex fiancée of the dude, wants to save everyone without actually having any means to do so). I'm reading this only for the lil girl, she's so adorable uwu

I thought this was gonna be something new (with all the merman stuff) but it's full of typical tropes, poor girl rich guy, girl becomes indebted to guy, fake relationship ensues cause the rich chaebol needs a gf for the public and she has no veto power whatsoever. I'm out
