This is really good!!! The art is lovely and I enjoy the characters a lot, plus the story and world is super interesting. My only real complaint is that this is another case of the official translation nuking the characters names to replace them with random western ones

I'm conflicted on this one. Big fan of the dynamic, but I have a problem with their first time, specifically the scene where the uke tells the seme to stop because it hurts and then punches him and bro still doesn't stop. Like. Erm. And then it's basically blamed on him going into heat?? Ik he feels bad for what he did but idk it rubs me the wrong way

I read this as soon as I finished the author's other work and loved it just as much! It was so cute and silly and the art was lovely, I loved the relationship development and the communication, ughh it was so good!!

Reread: while I did find this to be cute, it wasn't as enjoyable as I initially remembered it being. While I do enjoy the couple and think that their development was nice, I also have mixed feelings about parts of it, especially when it comes to the carnivore/herbivore dynamic in the world. I've never been a fan of the idea that the more "dominant" group is known to prey on and be unable to control their urges when it comes to the more "submissive" group, it's always read as a little gross to me and excusing bad behavior? There are definitely cases where it's done well, and I don't think this was a poorly done case by any means, it just wasn't the best Reread count: 1

Feeling conflicted about this one, I do like the idea of it, I think the seme being a dog while the uke is a dog groomer is really interesting, and I like the power dynamic where the seme is kind of helpless in the presence of the uke. However, the seme is pretty pushy at times and although it's not the worst I've seen it's still not the most comfortable to watch. Also was the scene in the first chapter while the seme is still a dog necessary.... Not a fan of that

Oh my god the ART. It's so lovely I need to eat it. In terms of the story, I enjoy the couple and plot is interesting to follow, although there's some issues with dubcon earlier on. The art is really what does it for me though, I love how the artist draws everything especially expressions

I don't know how to feel about this one overall. If I'm being honest, I think the whole thing is poorly written and poorly executed, and I think that's a shame because the concept is genuinely really interesting. The world building and core plot? Genuinely really neat, and paired with the art I can't help but wish it was a better read. But the execution was just really messy and hard to keep up with, for the entirety of all three volumes I felt confused and struggled to understand what the actual fuck was going on. And I don't really want to sit here furrowing my brow for three volumes of a yaoi. Not to mention the ending felt rushed and honestly? I hated the ending. Really didn't like it. I can't really recommend this unfortunately but if you wanna give it a go on the premise of beautiful art and interesting but poorly executed world building, be my guest.
