Two Souls
This was so good!!! Oh my gosh!!! The plot was extremely interesting, I loved the characters and their development, and the art was very nice. It reminded me of a plot you'd see in a danmei and I absolutely ate it up. SUCH a well done and interesting read!!
Okubyoumono Ni I Love You
Reread: This was cute! Definitely an enjoyable read, the characters were endearing and the concept was interesting but simple. The seme reads as aroace spec to me and as an aroace spec person myself I always love when characters in media I consume come off that way to me. Anyways the development of the relationship was nice but felt a little rushed, although since it's a single volume I don't fault it too hard for that Reread count: 1
Karasugaoka Don't be shy!!
SOOOOO CUTEEEEE!!!! Oh my gosh I loved this it was adorable?? The art is lovely for one, but the characters??? I love them so much. The idea of a character not really being a tsundere but more like an involuntarily tsundere around the person they have feelings for??? Such a cute and fun concept. This was so silly and cute, highly recommend giving it a read
Karasugaoka Don't be shy!! 2
Just like the first volume, this was super cute!! Rather than being about them getting together, we get to see how they're dealing with the change of their relationship to a romantic one and the bumps they're still running into along the way. It was adorable honestly
Heesu in Class 2
Holy fuck this was SO GOOD??? I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading it, it's been on my radar for years. It starts off a bit slow but things pick up really nicely and it becomes just SO cute, I adore the main couple so much... The side couple is also lovely, I liked the contrast they had against the main couple! The more rocky and imperfect development was a nice change of pace from the cute and relatively smooth development of the main couple. I wish we got at least a little more of the second couple in the end, but I also think the ambiguous end for them fits them really well. Cannot recommend this enough honestly
Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu
Wow I REALLY like this. It's so interesting and incredibly well written and illustrated, the art is so gorgeous and haunting, it conveys emotions so well. I could feel the dread in tense moments and the deep sadness in others, soooo well done. And again the story is SO interesting, what a unique concept... The idea of a "god" inhabiting the body of your dead best friend (and crush I believe) and then living with and adjusting to that fact is terrifying. Cannot recommend this enough, genuinely
Ookami-kun wa kowakunai
Reread: while I did find this to be cute, it wasn't as enjoyable as I initially remembered it being. While I do enjoy the couple and think that their development was nice, I also have mixed feelings about parts of it, especially when it comes to the carnivore/herbivore dynamic in the world. I've never been a fan of the idea that the more "dominant" group is known to prey on and be unable to control their urges when it comes to the more "submissive" group, it's always read as a little gross to me and excusing bad behavior? There are definitely cases where it's done well, and I don't think this was a poorly done case by any means, it just wasn't the best Reread count: 1
Omega Slave Capture Report
Uh. Well. The art is nice?? I thought the scenes were well done and all, but the rape really just puts me off, not a fan at all. Poor guy tbh, at least he got out of the train gangbang situation…
