The 1st chapter definitely drew me in FL: Resourceful, gorg, 1st love of ML, orphan. ML: Likely illegitimate child of a noble, mistaken for a girl while a child, adores FL. Setting: European 14th-19th c. Themes: Nobility, going against destiny, corrupt religious figures, true love.
