He fully helps and aids the FL in her pursuits, but respects her wishes. Art: Very fairytale like in style and colouring. ️Setting: 14th-18th c. Europe. Maybe Germanic or France pre-revolution(?) based off the fairytale like art?

She is determined to help him, which makes her very, very naive and overly trusting of him. ️ML: He is the Great Black Serpent. He has been living by himself in a cave.
