this author is. she pulls you in with the silly premise. the funny heart of gold "straight guy" mc. then you're three chapters in. you feel the walls closing in around you but it happens slowly enough you convince yourself it's not happening. five chapters in. you hear the author's voice. you really thought you would escape from this unscathed?you're crying now. you learn what love is, including the ways it hurts. they're happy at the end. you are still crying

internalized homophobia but it doesnt do anything different and its rushed. like who are these guys really. we literally have no way to know
