Incidentally Living Together
I was interested at first but the flaws in writing bother me greatly... There is so many issues in just the first 4 chapters, it feels like the writer doesn't know how life works. Or how embarassment works either... I mean, the fact that his 'love' for the neighbor can be overwritten so easily makes me dislike the MC tbh. He's the most shallow character I've seen in ages. And in this scenario he doesn't even have a reason to fall for him/have a wet dream about him other than seeing him half naked so...that's saying quite a bit about him in many ways. Mainly that he's just horny for his neighbor rather than love him. Tho there are plenty of other issues that make this all just weird to read. For example him jacking off to his suppposed crush's underwear, then being caught by the other guy and STILL agreeing to living together (that would never have happened with a person that reacted in such a world-ending way as the MC did, yet the author thought that would be a natural thing to happen...which is simply weird). I'm also confused as to why the MC was supposedly 'forced to live together'? He literally owns the apartment, right? And he was able to manage living there alone so far, so either the author didn't feel the need to include key information or this was just a quick dramatic idea to throw into dialogue to 'spice things up'. Which drama stories often enough do, sadly. The fact that he later thinks the guy just up and left without telling him, even tho they are living together and hence would be forced to communicate about this matter, is also unnatural in that scenario. Anyway, I'll give this a hard pass because I'm heavily bothered by the MCs personality and the general flawed logic. I honestly don't care if it 'gets better later on' either, because I'm not gonna bother hoping for the MC to be less annoying anytime soon. Especially with so many chapters this has. Give it a try, I suppose. But if you have any interest in a story making sense or being realistic in certain ways...you should probably skip this one.
Hit on By a Kinky Guy
The plot is interesting but...those faces are really off putting half the time and weird any other. So I really can't enjoy this all too much. I suppose if you're here to read smut and barely pay attention to the artstyle (or can endure to get used to it), then this might be a good read. But for me, as someone who likes good artwork and plot alike, this is a hard pass. Shame, really. But oh well, the psycho tag usually has these issues once in a while. Enjoy to whoever can. I'm outtie~
Assorted Wildness
REVIEW TIME... This is the first time I've ever really, really disliked this genre of uke (genre of uke = a person like Akihito from Viewfinder). He's not just a fucking idiot, he also lacks any type of logic and does weird and seemingly random bs all the damn time. The seme isn't much better with his dick-controlled thinking from the very first encounter and seemingly changing personality whenever needed/most suitable to get a situation going (it didn't feel like a person with 2 sides to him, but rather 2 seperate personalities in the same body, if that makes sense?). I had hopes for this in the beginning, but the writing and character personalities (if you wanna call them that, as little as there is of it..) is really just bad. It's a good read if you aim for the sex scenes, but that's about it. Tho half the time there's issues with the anatomy of the characters as well (which is weird since the naked scenes seem to be mostly accurate). There is also no hint of this ever turning into any sort of healthy/good relationship of any sort. It feels very choppy and lackluster. In some ways it drags endlessly, in others it rushes from one happening to another. It's just not enjoyable to read. Really not anything of quality, so I'm out. Have fun to whoever enjoys it tho.
Even If You Don't Love Me
7 chapters in and I literally don't like any of them and half of the plot is just confusing or so jump cut-y that it seems random or confusing. The seme (darker skinned one) has such an awful personality but not just because of his obvious power abuse thing he has going. He behaves random at times and is dumbstruck because of the simplest things: He's quite literally an idiot. AND an asshole. Nothing to like there. The seme's friend(?) is just the worst kind. Scheming, trouble-causing and straight up phsycho at times. Fuck that guy. The uke...oh boy. While he is a character that comes across as relatable and someone I like seeing finding a happy ending...he's a backbone-less idiot. If the seme threatens you with 'sit down or I'm gonna keep ordering food to throw on the ground!'...just LEAVE you fuckwit??? What's it to you if he makes himself look like a goddamn asshole and nutjob. This was the point of you realizing he's more than toxic, more than the type to not get involved with. But you did as he said...for what exactly? His reasoning is absolutely stupid and nothing relatable or anything that halfway makes sense. Not without more of an emotional, physical or money-related dependance anyway. Which did not exist. All in all, the artwork is nice, the story remotely interesting but ultimately destroyed for me because of the randomness, messy writing and just general rushing and stupid behavior. If it's the authors first work, it's okay. But it's really nothing I'm gonna bother reading or can recommend. The translations are strange and confusing at times and there seem to be a lot of order issues with the pages? It's not badly translated tho, certainly not the usual 'Google Translate' kind we see WAY too often. So the translators will actually get more praise from me than the author themself. Which is a first, I think.. Anyway, enjoy it for whoever can enjoy it and doesn't mind the issues I found with it. I'll move on to the next one.
Backstage, I'm Yours
I honestly think it could have been better but it's still a good read! Artwork is lovely, story might be a bit predictable and 'basic' but it's still interesting to see unfold. The sex scenes could have been a little less...cluttered, if you know what I mean? It's just a bit too much on too tiny a space. Looks a bit messy to me here and there.
At the End of the Road
Holy FUCK are there some logic issues in this one. It's super confusing and some thing are hardly explained. It's an ok read, but really nothing I'd recommend. There's too much mental fuck-up happening too...
