I Was Reborn as His Highness the Prince's Little Evil Dragon
Into The Thrill
It's been a while since I've read a comic that made zero effort to make the MC likable. At all times btw. Not once was there a moment he seemed ok even. Why do authors think writing characters like that will make people read their stories past the first chapter or two? Even the worst villains NEED something likable about them (charisma being the most popular choice) but if your main character doesn't even compare to a villain, that's just bad writing tbh. I know some people like reading stories about toxic trash (not sure why) but I've lost interest even halfway through chapter 1, let alone the others. Have fun to anyone that likes it. I'm gonna look for something that makes me want to read it. XD
Pavlov's Dog
Even in one of the latest chapters the ML is STILL a jackass with no likable personality. I'm dropping this. Yet another chinese work with the same flaws. That's disappointing. I'm not a fan of the writing tbh. 7 chapters in and there were multiple moments in which the author switched scenes and forgot to give crucial information of what happened inbetween, which made the scenes weird, incohesive or it felt like pages were missing. It's not time skip scenes per se either, in chapter 6/7 for example the boss suddenly pops up and the interaction suggest he interacted/was seen by the MC before....which didn't happen. It might seem minimal but when reading it throws you off and out of the immersion. Not to mention it makes you double check to see if you missed a page or even a chapter (if you took a small break from reading). The story itself is very interesting, the translation good and the characters nice, but the writing feels more on the amateur side given this simple mistake in writing. as for the flaw in writing, to simplify it: an author making the mistake of NOT portraying something that THEY know happened, but the reader does not. It might seem minimal or unimportant if you're not used to advanced writing, but for experienced readers this'll likely be a bothersome flaw. I hope it doesn't keep being this way, since I really find the story nice.
Please, Candy!
Chapter 4 and I'm dropping this. The guy is a manipulative jackass with any sense of logic. He's just another nutjob wanting to have his way without consent from his supposed love interest. Really not a fan of this sorta character. :P Maybe it's a good read for people who like nutjobs, but I'm not interested in seeing this go any further.
Isekai Otokonoko Biyaku Henai Cool na Ansatsusha ♂ ni Biyaku o Mottemitara
Another great smut art comic ruined by a fat ugly bastard as the one that nails the hot bottom. Just puke-worthy.
Stigma (Doo Down)
Just another Omegaverse story that excuses the heat/rut dynamic to justify rape or make it more acceptable. Which is really laughable considering the author mentioned 'its against the law to bonk if one of the people does not consent' and then immediately proceeds to show just how little the Male Lead gives a shit. Both characters aren't really introduced in a way that make them emotionally connected to me. Especially the male lead is simply displayed as a 'cool dude' with a shitty personality. I guess there's plenty people who like that and I too do like those plots, but not with this constant, smut-dumbfvck logic of using heat/rut as an excuse to get away with what is nothing else than a mix of 'drugged up rape meets mind control'. It's just not enjoyable unless you have your dick out already and stuble upon the smut scenes maybe. As fap material this is surely fine for many, as a self-insert I can totally see that. But as a story in general? Really not. The art is ok but the artist has some issue they need to fix with their wonky anatomy at times. The writing is just as trashy as one can expect from smut-Omegaverse so I'll not bother saying anything more. This is really boring and predictable to me, we've seen this at least 10 times before in other comics. In EXACTLY the same way too. There's nothing new here and the personality of the ML is just a major ick factor (to put it nicely) that makes me loose all interest. Give it a go, but be warned that this is just nothing special in any way. Not my thing, so I'll look for something more original and pleasant to read instead.
The Tosa's Master
People: Gather your gasmasks immediately! Someone's burning the toxic garbage in industrial size here. XD Holy shit was this fvcked seven days till sunday and back. And people honestly keep mentioning JJ from Jinx when it's about toxic people, meanwhile this shit happily exists in our universe. JJ is a true sweet gentleman compared to this mofo. Not sure if I should laugh or cry about this realization. I have little to complain, it WAS announcing itself big and heavy as toxic right from the start, but I think it's just a bit bland in terms of the characters just not being appealing in any way except physically thanks to the art. I like my toxic garbage with at least a tiny flavour of redeemable qualities, but oh well. If people like fvcked up shit, this is probably one of the go-to smuts I guess.
