Complete | Hongou chika | 2019 released

Finally a manga that depicts mental trauma and emotions stirred by it perfectly well! The age difference might be an issue for some readers, but the trama-part is very well written and is probably one of the very tiny handful of stories that actually do traumatized characters right. It didn't just serve as a sob story background for him to be messed up in the head, it was what formed his character. Unlike SO many other semes you might encounter with the "traumatized past, hence I'm a fucked up jerk and what I do is justified" trope, this character had actual reason depicted for his issues, acknowledged them from the start but still fell into the traumatic schema of having to follow what his messed up head tells him. His character was BUILD with the trauma in mind, and focus, not like most authors that go: Oh, but we need to give him a reason to be a fucked up jerk, or else people won't like him and cheer him on...let's give him a fucked up past and not go into detail when depicting how trauma fucks up people emotionally! It's ok to just gloss over it and never show him being emotionally unstable, nobody cares about that anyway~ :D
