Incidentally Living Together

Complete | Shin Yuri | 2000 released

I was interested at first but the flaws in writing bother me greatly... There is so many issues in just the first 4 chapters, it feels like the writer doesn't know how life works. Or how embarassment works either... I mean, the fact that his 'love' for the neighbor can be overwritten so easily makes me dislike the MC tbh. He's the most shallow character I've seen in ages. And in this scenario he doesn't even have a reason to fall for him/have a wet dream about him other than seeing him half naked so...that's saying quite a bit about him in many ways. Mainly that he's just horny for his neighbor rather than love him. Tho there are plenty of other issues that make this all just weird to read. For example him jacking off to his suppposed crush's underwear, then being caught by the other guy and STILL agreeing to living together (that would never have happened with a person that reacted in such a world-ending way as the MC did, yet the author thought that would be a natural thing to happen...which is simply weird). I'm also confused as to why the MC was supposedly 'forced to live together'? He literally owns the apartment, right? And he was able to manage living there alone so far, so either the author didn't feel the need to include key information or this was just a quick dramatic idea to throw into dialogue to 'spice things up'. Which drama stories often enough do, sadly. The fact that he later thinks the guy just up and left without telling him, even tho they are living together and hence would be forced to communicate about this matter, is also unnatural in that scenario. Anyway, I'll give this a hard pass because I'm heavily bothered by the MCs personality and the general flawed logic. I honestly don't care if it 'gets better later on' either, because I'm not gonna bother hoping for the MC to be less annoying anytime soon. Especially with so many chapters this has. Give it a try, I suppose. But if you have any interest in a story making sense or being realistic in certain ways...you should probably skip this one.
