Spoiler-ish, so beware. There are quite a few issues with the pacing. I don't think it's the translation 100%, tho it could play into many moments being confusing and feeling jump cuttish. As if we missed some panels or weren't told some info. Or some things are just not entirely clear, like: Did they kiss or is he just thinking they did? Who knows. The story itself is very mild. The character and everything that's happening is just a bit bland, there is that certain hook-factor missing that makes me want to read more. Both when it comes to the story and the characters' personalities. It's likely a very rushed copy-cat type idea since, as many said, the game-irl meeting stories took off after Guildmate Next Door. But as a standalone it's really just a good read for younger readers who haven't developed a sense for cohesive writing and detailed stories with interesting aspects to it. I wouldn't recommend it for seasoned readers but it's probably a good read for younger ones/those with less experience. It's not bad but not good in my books either, so give it a try and see if you like it or not.
