Bye Bye
FFS, more and more I really wish people would NOT do promo chapters. Because this shit gets less and less cohesive every time I see a new one. At least make it SOMEWHAT like a fluent comic page, or straight up just a collection of random pannels that don't pretend to be connected in a cohesive way for the first few pannels. This shit's annoying as all hell. From the VERY little info this gives, I'm gonna look at it. but damn, could you have done a much better job at trying to make it more interesting (by just it being cohesive btw). If it wasn't for the art tho, I'd probably have hard-passed this shit...so lucky that that and the ganster genre aspect is there to save it...
Non-Refundable Alpha
Okay that ending is actually disappointing. The story was so good and while I love seeing stories without shoehorned drama, that 10 year time skip to one moment and saying they have kids was really disappointing. At least show them A LITTLE falling in love, living together and the pregnancy being announced before rolling the credits. This felt way too rushed, as if the author didn't want to finish the story anymore after they fucked a few times. :( The art is great but ultimately the badly written ending is making this drop down in score. Such a shame.
Arcade Justice
They characters are lovely, art is as well and the writing is perfect for a small inbetween read when you have some time and want some fluff (but not the too sweet kind). It's realistic, short and not elongated by needless drama. Tho I do think it could have been a longer work with some more detail in their daily life, monologue about feelings and getting back to know each other and developing feelings for each other as more than friends. It's a good read, especially for first timers I think this would be a good recommendation to ease them into the genre, since it's not too much and not too little. :) Hope to see more form this author.
